Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa are as winnable as they've been in a long time. if we go 0-3 against them, that's a terrible look.

Not his fault. However, he has 0 experience as a head coach of a major football program, so he has to do something extra special to make himself stand out from all the other candidates that have experience coaching a big time program like Nebraska.

Computer calculations include how terrible we were in our first 4 games, I think we are a better, but still very flawed team after that. Still a long shot if we don't win tomorrow.

I agree somewhat.

Once again, it would depend on how we lose. I hate making the same excuses new coach after new coach, but it isn't Mickey's fault the roster is what it is. And it isn't Mickey's fault that instead of coaching his team during all off-season (and in-season) practices, Frost was too busy not coaching or preparing the team - and too busy getting hamboned at the country club, shooting wildlife in the face, etc.

At the same time, I have a hard time believing our talent is as depleted as many believe - that is to say if we give any credence to the recruiting services' rankings.
