One seriously has to wonder if they aren't doing it on purpose. It happens routinely. They literally can't be scholarship players at Nebraska and be that bad.
I think you guys are wrong. I mean our Oline can't be bad, have you seen how tall some of them are? Case closed. Scott said super tall linemen are the bestest, so mic drop.

Pretend you have a 240 lb defensive end in front of you.
at the snap, take a step forward and try to engage this invisible defender.. figure how long you can do it for.
Next, repeat, but start back pedaling (don't trip you drunks) and figure out how long you can keep the defnder from running you over.
Which would be more effective?

Those two D-ends nearly gave one another a concussion they came so free. Good thing they didn't hit CT that hard.
I’m now convinced they need to look at walk-on TE’s and LBs to play OT. The tackle play is not worth putting two OL players on the field at all.
No. The offensive line is ****. Hot garbage doesn't begin to decribe it. Same could be said about the DL as well.
This is true. We have to just ride it out. We lost by a TD on the road with what we have. Imagine what we could do with just an average line!
2 good things for having a good oline is :
1. recruiting, getting good oline players to start with
2. having these players in a system that developes them
so a coach has to recruit and have a clear goal for his oline, and not flipping assistant coaches consitantly..or flipping the blocking system constantly.
milt and dan young coached at nebraska for decades so they had a system of developeing oline players..
these days it seems we flip oline coaches every 2.3 years

I don’t know what Duval has done since he’s been here, besides gain about 100 pounds. At least we don’t hear the lies about the last staff not having them do squats anymore. So many idiot fans slurped up that nonsense without any hesitation
