What was the dust up between those two on the late hit on the sidelines? Saw it live but the sound was down for a different game. Seemed pretty heated and didn’t get chance to see why it escalated beyond the flag and penalty.

Competition brings out what you saw yesterday from Coach Day. Is he a douche, or is he a survivor of childhood trauma who has achieved in spite of it, and is an imperfect person as a result?
The late hit flag was obviously justified. I can also get behind the idea of deeming it flagrant and ejecting Cruickshank from the game.
But when players who are on the bench get involved in an on-field scuffle, don't announcers usually wet themselves and start talking about automatic suspensions? Apparently none of this hand-wringing applies to the OSU bench.
