So Pissed at Frost

Roaming around the TV watching a ton of college football today makes me realize just how truly awful we had become under Frost. Watching well coached teams play is a joy and only points out by contrast how far we fell under Frost.

It just really, really pisses me off. Frost was handed the keys to the mansion and then proceeded to laugh, get drunk, play around, and **** in every room he could find. The dude put in minimal effort, pocketed millions and millions of dollars, and laughed all the way out the door.

Who knew he was such an immature little turd of a man?

The team he inherited was bad. Blown out by Iowa bad. Frost didn't move the needle. Next.

I guess I never realized Frost was treating this job like a 90's frat party reunion all these years until the stories started coming out after he was fired. It explains why we always looked so bad and never improved. I can't wait to move on and see us play real football next year.

Rock Bottom is where we are from a Nebraska player after reaching the mountain top 52 years ago….

Time to get excited about a new era in Husker football..

Yea, it was bad, but what he left is worse. This team could’ve been revived from the death penalty and still should’ve been better than what that turd Frost rolled out there.

The good news is, it seems impossible for us to get worse, so it will be very exciting and a fun ride to watch this team turn around. We’ve got players and I think the right coach will do it quickly.

Yup. If he couldn't do the job, he should have bowed out like Peterson at Washington. He went the other route and became a pariah.

Just perhaps there was also a lack of talent. Granted coaches need to recruit good talent.

You apologists need to come to terms with the Frost Era. He was a worse head coach than Riley. Let that sink in. Worse in every way. Riley won more games every year than Frost. You keep making excuses for his failures. We still had more talent than most teams after Riley left. Frost had 5 years to make it his team. Excuse me while I go find a bucket.

IMO Frost with an average defense was at least a .500 coach despite his flaws.
But he did not have even an average defense and that is on him. I know you know that and you are pointing out that very often we had enough offense to win a lot more games had we had a better defense. Sadly, we did not. And that is Frost's fault for bringing his buddy Chinander with him.

It's been nice watching real football teams play today. If it's any consolation Georgia, Michigan and Penn State played like garbage. But I suppose it's telling that good teams find a way to win when they play bad. We don't.

We were in the toilet when Frost took the job, and we sank even further down the toilet under Frost.

Ironically IF Diaco hadn’t been forced on Riley I think Nebraska would have easily gotten to a bowl that last year.

I agree!! I think Mark Banker got a really raw deal. He wasn't great but the players liked him and he at least put out an average defense. Diaco was a creepy fraud. More Eichorst nonsense.

and trev has the time to do his homework
One thing NU has going for it is a young Husker legacy AD who will get tremendous patience. Trevs a well know respected commodity in coaching circles. I know that pains some Mav fans but it’s a fact

I thought he should have been fired last year. But I guess if I don't want to rage now I'm an apologist. I'll give you credit for caring more than I do. Have a cookie.

I often agree with you. But what changes schematically should have Chins made? It seems to me he tried almost everything.

Answer: Pretty much anybody who ever met him.
I agree. I hated his personality as a player, he chased anything in a skirt, partied all the time, had to be told to stay away from the boats in CB. Whined like a baby when things didn't go his way. BUT, I did think he'd be a good coach here until late in season 2.

Yep. I was that way last weekend. WATCHED more cfb in 2 days, live and recorded, and said every team was BETTER than we were. Talent and/or coaching

This isn’t Bama, OU, OSU. It’s not that easy especially here. Our bar is 8/9 wins. Not like the premier schools. We won’t see 8/9 wins for at least 4 years. Minimum!!

And it's frustrating watching Heupel have success at Tennessee, after inheriting a great offense from Frost at UCF. And then successfully bringing that offense to the SEC.

I don't think he parties as much as Frost. Looks like he eats pretty well though.

He was a very arrogant insecure individual that quit on all Husker faithful. Better things are ahead of us. Just feel for the kids who had to endure this timeframe

A lot of his former teammates. Many of whom were derided by the masses for not falling in line.
