You are delusional. This team will be lucky to win another game the rest of the season.

update - 'cuse just took the lead on purdue

syracuse will win 7 games this year in the ACC, which most B1G fans would (incorrectly) consider to be a lesser conference than our own

Ummm sure but are you watching this team. This may be the worse of the West. And that is embarrassing. Fu Frost.

I am not currently watching

I did cash a nice bet on NU to score first today +145, however!

we are terrible. I am not saying otherwise. I am simply showing the rest of the fanbase that we are not alone in our terribleness, and we play 7 equally terrible teams to close out the year

we look like a B1G team right now. there is maybe 1 team in our league that could keep up with OU. the rest are a lot more like north dakota.

"the best qb in the west" - @BoilerN

thanks for the horrendous pick-six to cash all my 'cuse bets, AOC!!!!
It was a bad pick, bad play, but then he brought Purdue back. Then the 17 unsportsmanlike and the PI for the uncatchable ball haunted them. Funny you forgot to mention he brought them back though. Since he's not the best, whose better?

The fact your team had to kickoff from the 10 yard line after coming back made me laugh even harder than the pick 6

This is going to be a long season. We have literally lost 8 of our last 9 games going back to last season. At least we have a bye week to try and figure something out and lick our wounds. What an embarrassing game against our old rival today. We are Kansas… JFC. This sucks.

He's trolling, but the BIG west is a complete joke, which makes Nebraska sucking so bad unbearable. This **** should be a yearly cakewalk to the BIG championship game.

I mean, ya. When the refs call a couple crap unsportsmanlikes, that's what happens. And before you tell me they weren't crap, tell me what Payne did to deserve one. Then tell me what Brohm did to get one from the ref 40 yards away as opposed to the refs talking to him.

I thought the announcers said it was on the special teams coach?

refs did call it on the HC but I wonder if someone else was really to blame

That I couldn't tell ya. Thought the whole end was crap. Paynes was week. Espn was trash so I missed the one on the coaches, and like ten plays. Purdue DE was tackled on the third down play that was defensive holding. The PI was 100% uncatchable and took a legit 10 seconds before the flag was thrown. Then like 3 more unsportsmanlikes. It was wild and meh. Shame to see after Purdue overcame a multitude of mistakes, looking like they would get a win missing key guys. Bummer.

Indiana & Rutgers won. You would call them both great victories if they were SEC teams.

You just said Arkansas & Florida are good. You said their 4th-quarter come-from-behind wins, at home, vs Missouri State & South Florida...were great victories.

Payne Durham brought it on himself. He was rubbing Syracuse's face in it...after his touchdown AND after the extra-point. And he was STILL GOING as he's walking off the field after the extra point.

The camera didn't show what Purdue's coaching staff did. But they didn't grab Durham...he was being patted by teammates. So maybe they were trying to defend his behavior.

The 2nd PI...it looked like the strategy was to take the penalty by not letting the receiver do anything.

Despite all that...Purdue still could have stopped them if they tackled better or if they didn't give up the deep TD completion.

So overall it was questionable officiating. But Purdue imploded on themselves.

I just don't get how some Husker fans are still thinking we can win six games or so this year. Yes... the entire Western division sucks. Newsflash: we suck too and we might just be the worst team in the division. Teams now know too that our defense is a monumental joke and that our offense folds like a house of cards the minute you dial up pressure packages on the QB. We might eke out a win or two if we get lucky against Indiana or Rutgers or Illinois. But that is if we are lucky. We lost to freaking Georgia Southern for crying out loud. We lost to a horrible Northwestern team and made them look like Super bowl contenders in the process. What makes us think we are better than Indiana or Rutgers or Illinois??

We will be lucky to win another game this year.

I'm OK with winning a couple games at best, at least we won't fall into the popular interim coach quandary. Just hire a real coach that can build something.

I think Northwestern is actually the worst but you have already blown your chance for a win with the Wildcats.

I do however think that you could beat any of Illinois, Rutgers or Indiana. 2-1 or 1-2 are the most likely outcomes.
