Huskers must really have worn Northwestern down. Two weeks and they still haven’t recovered!
We'll see. Coach K will be hard to replace, but Jon Scheyer has a great class coming in.
I was waiting anxiously for Northwestern to play another game so we could get some measure of how good they are. Now we know. Our loss to them now looks ugly and does not bode well for the rest of the season. Maybe if we can just get our guys to vomit more at practice we can improve.
on the bright side, we don't play in Duke's division we play in the b1g west, where every team is northwestern-adjacent, so we will have a chance to win a lot of games
Really? 3-9 last year, including us blowing their doors off, and you needed to see their next game to see how good they were? We were a double digit favorite, and we lost, to a team that blew *** last year. Even if they end up winning this game, doesn't change the above. Frost lost again, in ways that only Frost can. Oct 1 cant get here quickly enough.
Normally I would agree with this. But NW under Fritz has a habit of following up a bad season with a good one. It was not crazy at all to think that maybe this was going to be a decent turnaround season for them, just as he has done before.

That's because Frost makes teams be coaches against look a lot better than they really are.
And? So he scratches out 8 wins, what does that mean? We lost to another slightly above average team that we shouldn't have lost to, but we were close! This isnt year 2.
Look, I am not disagreeing with you. Northwestern probably sucks. The question after last week was how sucky are they? Now we know. A team capable of 8 or 9 wins is not a really awful team. But they are not looking like that today, although they do seem to making a comeback.
Yessir, Devils!! Fun game, amazing the difference Mike Elko has brought to Durham. Wasn't perfect but overall a very good performance, especially defensively. Duke had something like 15 pass breakups in addition to forcing an interception and 2 fumbles. Fun game (especially when you've got money on the team that wins lol).
The SEC West must really suck if no one can ever beat Alabama...even at home. Look what unranked Texas did...in Saban's 3rd non-conference road game in 16 years.Looks like Duke would win the BIG west division.
Not really surprised. I didn't think NW was that good and I didn't think Nebraska was that bad as it appeared in the first game. Nebraska was two different teams in that first game and the bad one played in the second half.
