Not all FCS teams are the same. Morgan State is barely a top 400 college team. Though with Frost I wouldn't be surprised if it's close.

Listened to the game on Morgan State radio here in Baltimore. The Bears are awful, like Division III awful. Remember when Buffalo put up ungodly numbers against Wagner last year? Kinda like that. And Georgia Southern's QB was Buffalo's QB last year. We won't blow out anybody, but we should win.

GSU is coached by USC's former coach, Clay Helton. Their QB, Vantrease, was Buffalo's starting QB when we played them a couple years ago.

And before you say “ they only beat Morgan State”, Iowa and NU got all the could handle from the Dakotas today.
This might well be a loss next week. Only points given up were on a pick six

If Nebraska had lost to NDakota - and then lost to Georgia Southern - I wonder if anything would've happened to Frost? Or would the boosters still say "all is well"?

Obviously it should be a blowout, but as with all Nebraska teams of late (especially those under Frost), who friggin' knows what team we'll see. The game shouldn't be close, but it probably will be much, much closer than it should be. And perhaps a loss.

Yet, nothing will happen. And we'll march on to lose to Oklahoma. And probably lose to 7/8 teams after Oklahoma. Yet, nothing will happen.

I've become a Debbie Downer...

Frost is done and everyone knows it. I'm like @Pennsyhusker where I will never root against the team, but a new coach is coming as I just don't see us beating anyone of substance. I could be way wrong and we turn it around, but just don't see it.

This is correct. Frost doesn't have the type of miracle needed to pull off enough wins to save his job.

He'll have a nice life in Scottsdale.

He'll get another job and probably go have great success. NU just seems doomed and that is why you need to bring in a turn key winner and not another development project or Group of 5 guy. Needs to be a Stoops, Meyer, Rhule caliber type guy.

His numbers last year:

K. Vantrease27-50, 224 YDS, 1 INT

Yep. Those are Heisman numbers. At least if you are going to try and troll be good at it.
Saturday, Ga Southern ran the ball 32 tmes and threw it 46 times. Of course, it was a blowout so those numbers are skewed.

It was a scoreless first quarter and Ga Southern scored 59 in the last 3 qtrs.

The players know it and can feel and see the negativity. If a turn around is to happen - the team needs to have a players only off campus closed door no cell phone meeting. There is enough talent on the roster to win at least 7. Could have been 8 but they pissed northwestern down their leg. Otherwise this is a 2 or 3 win team.

I oversimplified it but what the hell else are they gonna do?
There is probably enough talent to win the rest of them, but that talent has never been developed on a full team level. I blame the coaches for 80% of this debacle, but at some time these kids have to start playing the way they know how every play. That would be the one thing I would like to see is just everyone finally playing to their potential for a few game stretch just to give us a glimpse of what the next coach might be able to harness.

At some point you have got to wonder if the mess Hoiberg has with basketball team and what Frost has done bringing in transfers might not be similar.

You all have nothing to worry about this weekend. You should probably spend as much time as you can this week preparing for Oklahoma.

But seriously, ive been reading the board all week and it's a mirror image of our board a year ago. I wouldn't wish this on anybody.

Edit: Except App State... I hope they don't win a single game this season.
