I think he's gone so there's that. Looking back what positives has his reign brought ? Better culture ? Recruiting ? Hope ? ( lol) Toughness ? Better offensive numbers , stats surely. I'm trying to be positive here.

He made the fans and players develop balls of steel. Kicked em so hard and so often, we’re on the verge of being completely immune to it.
On the flip side, putting his wasted salary aside, I just feel bad for him. He wanted it as much as we did. I believe that. But we got catfished and now will be forced back to the place where hope springs eternal…. the very beginning as we start over…. once again.
No more hoodies under the jerseys. Called out the big ten in 2020 to play football….then allowed his team to opt out 3 months later.

Initially when hired, he provided the most hope I have ever had for the Husker program since TO stepped down. I really enjoyed watching the final games he coached at UCF and how he handled himself. He seem to have a humble confidence about himself.
Something seemed off the very first time he spoke at his introduction press conference. Looking back, it appears cockiness overcame confidence. I was actually fine with his initial SmackTalk in the first year, because that second half of the first season it look like he was turning things around. I don’t have a problem with SmackTalk in this profession if you can back it up. Then season two started…
From the start of season two, I just can’t really find much positive from that time period until now.
