Maybe/probably I missed it, but was there something posted already about why the future schedules (with the exception of OOC teams) has been wiped out in the Husker site?
last years Press Guide had full schedules from 2023-2025..Maybe/probably I missed it, but was there something posted already about why the future schedules (with the exception of OOC teams) has been wiped out in the Husker site?
With the expansion it will be redone especially if they go to pods.last years Press Guide had full schedules from 2023-2025..
2024- Oct 5 at Michigan Oct 12 Ohio St Oct 19 BYE Oct 26 at Penn State also away games with Wisconsin and Ioway..
As of now there will be change obviously but now Purdue can move to the East and be with Indiana..With the expansion it will be redone especially if they go to pods.
They'll probably replace the bye with USC and remove Northwestern from the schedule.last years Press Guide had full schedules from 2023-2025..

They will be no divisions anymore, everyone is pretty much doing this.As of now there will be change obviously but now Purdue can move to the East and be with Indiana..
Because of these two in different divisions the conference was forced to set up the stupid crossover rivalry games..
Maybe a best 4 out of 7 each year.My people are telling me that it will be in Columbus on an annual basis.
Vegas has it +1500 when NU and UCLA meet, Frost will be watching the game in his easy chair.Looking forward to seeing B1G football all day on Saturdays (well, past midnight EST anyway). That's gotta be worth quite a bit when negotiating the new TV contract because I suspect the market for a late game between Nebraska and USC, for instance, is bigger than one for Washington and Oregon State. I'd think Fox or whoever would be happy with scenarios similar to the following:
Noon -- Wisconsin - Michigan
3:30 -- Iowa - UCLA
7 -- Huskers - Penn State
10:30 - Ohio State - USC

I completely agree. we should play a top-half big 12, sec or acc team (or ND) every yearI find most of our future schedules fairly disappointing. Colorado as the premier non con game does not get it done, especially so when you do it two years in a row and your other games are Northern Iowa, utep, northern Illinois, and LA Tech. In 2028, Arizona is the premier non con game.
On the positive side, we do have home and home vs OU again (I'm for playing them at least twice a decade), Tennessee (awesome), and Okie Lite (cool, I wouldn't mind playing other former big 8 teams that are at least good). We also play at Cincy. I think the home game of that series was cxld in 2020 because of dipshits.
If you get to a 20 team conference you have the potential to just play your divisional teams to determine div championthe big 8 absolutely ruled on schedules...you knew exactly where you were at all times and exactly who you was aiming for..there wasn't play ohio state 8 times and indiana 2 times garbage.....then change every thing every other year...
there simply was no better model, everyone played everyone and there were no favorites..
unfortunately, fox won't allow that because it won't give them the flexibility to maximize big game match upsIf you get to a 20 team conference you have the potential to just play your divisional teams to determine div champion
