That's not really what this thread is aboutNothing matters unless and until we stop sucking balls
It's what every thread is about, I just mentioned it.That's not really what this thread is about
Very true. And lots of teams play several games per season. This is creating some seriously insane travel schedules for teams that play several games per season.
Not sure the credibility of this guy...
I want Arizona state and StanfordMan just think if the B1G hadn't grabbed Maryland and Rutgers a few years back....would have room for Oregon and Washington right now. For purely selfish reasons, I wish we would grab ASU and U of A...wife is a U of A alum, huge NU fan base in Arizona.
There isn't much chance of ASU joining the Big Ten because it isn't a member of the Association of American Universities.I want Arizona state and Stanford
Can’t wait for the 10PM kickoffsUSC/Rutgers is the cross-town rivalry college football has been demanding for decades.
Huge markets but also heavy pro sports towns and not so much college hype in those citiesThe big ten will soon have the Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles tv market.
Smaller sports wont continue in this new world. But LA teams have quite easy travel to many Big Ten schools.Just think, every game UCLA or USC play will involve serious travel time. We'll be their closes opponent. Hell, bring Utah with them! I live in Utah so big bonus to me.
If the do move to the Big 10 the the PAC and the Big 12 should merge.
10-4How can they be
There isn't much chance of ASU joining the Big Ten because it isn't a member of the Association of American Universities.
Could be. I'm surprised at how few 11 am games we drew this yearCan’t wait for the 10PM kickoffs
Those two things will not make a difference when it comes to tv negotiations. Rutgers and Maryland were nothing more than tv sets to the big ten.Huge markets but also heavy pro sports towns and not so much college hype in those cities

You can just stop right now, Mr. Funnypants. But they're not contiguous states though.
Chicago has a large Notre Dame fanbase. The B1G will own LA, Chicago and NYC markets.
agreed this seems like a head fake by someone unlikely it ever comes to fruititionProof that someone is smoking something, the networks will NEVER let that happen. The Rose Bowl would never be the same and that would totally open up the LA market to the current BIG schools which would totally screw UCLA.
And yet it's happening. Don't get your head stuck in the sand!agreed this seems like a head fake by someone unlikely it ever comes to fruitition
It's done.Proof that someone is smoking something, the networks will NEVER let that happen. The Rose Bowl would never be the same and that would totally open up the LA market to the current BIG schools which would totally screw UCLA.
Got to be the fastest fail ever!Proof that someone is smoking something, the networks will NEVER let that happen. The Rose Bowl would never be the same and that would totally open up the LA market to the current BIG schools which would totally screw UCLA.
fail #2agreed this seems like a head fake by someone unlikely it ever comes to fruitition
Well that didn't age well. WinkingProof that someone is smoking something, the networks will NEVER let that happen. The Rose Bowl would never be the same and that would totally open up the LA market to the current BIG schools which would totally screw UCLA.
I think the B1G should just get every f***ing school. EVERY. DAMNED. SCHOOL.Man just think if the B1G hadn't grabbed Maryland and Rutgers a few years back....would have room for Oregon and Washington right now. For purely selfish reasons, I wish we would grab ASU and U of A...wife is a U of A alum, huge NU fan base in Arizona.
