Fong will be flipping soon if he hasn't already. I don't want to be premature, but it's looking good, very good. As a Nebraska fan, I'm always prepared to be hurt though.

She also started a thread asking for pros/cons of Sark and Frost.
While I could imagine some entertainment value, seems a bit out of place/unnecesary.

She's a revolting creature. And so is he. The arrogance and bragging is so over the top. It's so immature...but many many people just love to brag on Twitter, Facebook, etc.
It’s a free country if the young lady wants to post like that so be it. But I don’t understand judgement by someone that doesn’t know the other person

That's our resident Minnesota rodent fan. I wouldn't worry much about anything he says.

As an edge, who is he going to compete with for playing time? Garrett Nelson or Caleb Tanner? I get Frost's attraction to the kid since he's a proven pass rusher. But I don't understand the media reports calling him an answer to our lack of depth in the interior D-line.

Would assume he’ll play opposite of Nelson. Tannor will back him up and Butler will be competing for reps and Gunnerson will back up Nelson. Mathis gives the Dline a chance to pop, but Drew is the more essential target.

I did clarify that many many people do the same thing. Instead of calling her & him revolting creatures, I could have said that they are displaying themselves as revolting creatures.

Hey, and I said this after her stupid post about Nebraska's coaching sucking. I'm not anti-Nebraska. I've never said a bad word about Frost or anything like that. I simply call then as I see them.

On a scale of 1 to 10 what will be the meltdown when Mathis chooses texas. What will be the joy expressed when Mathis shocks the BIG RED and decides to come to Lincoln 1 to 10. Does texas even need Mathis with all the talent they have stock piled, doubtful.

Mathis is definitely wanted by Texas coaches and fans. Some fans might try to spin it that he's not that big of a deal, if Texas loses out on him, but he's definitely a position of need. Outside edge play was pretty horrendous in Austin last fall and the Spring "game" didn't alleviate any concerns for this upcoming year. Texas added a few decent recruits this past class to eventually fill the void, but I wouldn't expect them to be big contributors for at least a year or 2.

I don't care enough to read her posts but when someone puts something out there in a public forum they kinda open themselves up for judgement on the content of their opinion. Now, reflexively calling someone names is a bit loony IMO.

Fair enough but is he guaranteed to start at texas. I have no idea what the depth chart looks like at texas nor do I really care but he has to know he will most likely start at Nebraska if he chooses to come to Lincoln, not sure you can say that about texas.

so can't judge a person you don't know by their tweets or posts? everyone on this board is guilty of that.

He's a legit pass rusher which we haven't had since Randy Gregory.

He'd start day 1, without a doubt. The difference might be in how he'd be utilized in the each scheme. Sounds like Nebraska is selling him on being able to pin his ears back and get after the quarterback.

So I'm so terrible for being on this site? Or am I so terrible for saying it's stupid of her to say your D-Line coach stinks?
I’m guessing it has more to do with your body of work on this site and not just this single post.

Has Texas had a player drafted yet?
Nope. Only CB Josh Thompson was considered a fringe draft pick. K Dicker will probably be picked up free agent. Herman had a recruiting class that ended up being pretty horrible production-wise for Texas. That's this class.
