We play Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Michigan, Penn State and Iowa this year. How is that a joke of a schedule? I can tell you and many other Nebraska fans hate the conference but you could at least try and be reasonable. Ryan Day however is turning around Ohio State QBs and the NFL.

You said Nebraska stinks despite their competition, not because of it, yet they are 44-49 in conference play since joining the conference 10 years ago. And the more recent you go, the worse that record becomes. I would say the strength of the Big 10 is a big reason for Nebraska "stinking", especially when you compare it to their Big 12 record for the previous decade. And lastly the Big 10 is always littered with draft picks. Usually every year the Big 10 is second in most draft picks.

wisc, mich, psu & iowa are all "B1G good", which means they'd lose a NYD bowl against another P5 program if they made one.

ND is basically the same as michigan.

your team, mich & psu produce 85%+ of the B1G's draft stock every year. only your team does anything with them while in school.

B1G is, at best, an average P5 conference. we are a vastly below average P5 program.

The scandal news broke in March 2011. Between 1994 and 2011, Penn State won only 2 outright Big Ten title (1994, 2005). They did share the title with OSU in 2008. During the same period OSU won 3 outright titles and shared 6; Michigan 2 outright and 3 shared. Domination??? Just the facts.

Dylan and his family will make the best decision for Dylan. That's it. A lot will depend on how Nebraska does with Whipple as the QB coach. The Raiola's will be looking at that hard. Right now, Raiola wouldn't be coming to Nebraska. If he sees a future with Whipple and Frost (hard to see that happening right now, but you never know with a big season from Thompson or another QB). Have another sub .500 season, we are out. Have a surprising 9-3 season, but uninspiring QB play, still out. Have a 9-3 or better season where our QB shines, we are definitely in the mix.

You only listed 2 good teams. The conference is trash and deep down you know it is. Ohio State carries the conference on it's back.

Wait…isn’t it hard to get top recruits to NU due to our location, population, (please click the drop down menu for other excuses why NU cannot compete in recruiting).

How’s it worked out the past two plus decades? Things have changed and when parity sets in it hurts places like Neb more than most schools.
