Frost should be fired ASAP for allowing this previous mentality on the O line for 4 f*cking years!
I like hearing the word”intense” when describing Raiola.
At a minimum, we will at least have “some” competition to fill spots across the line. The fact the entire line is up for grabs should bring out the best in whoever we have.
With the talk about Thompson and Chubba, I hope Haarberg was sitting there thinking “not so fast, I plan on giving them a run for their money.”
While I don’t expect Haarberg to win the job, I want to see him hungry and pushing to be the guy. Bottom line is if you perform, you’ll play.

Obviously it didn’t work well for us, but it’s not like this is some insane strategy nobody uses. Wide zone run schemes are what work best in the NFL these days. If you don’t have a strength advantage over your opponent and your running back has great vision it’s a good strategy.
SF has had other issues last 4 years losing games and one big one was poor special teams which lost more games than the offensive line aggressiveness..

Obviously we all hope and pray the changes will bring better results. BUT having been burned so many times before by all the optimistic talk I'm going to wait to see actual results on the field in terms of game wins before I get excited. I can't recall a single time that optimistic talk didn't follow major changes before they were proven on the field. When does anybody ever remember coaches or players saying right after some major coaching changes "oh crap those changes really doomed our chances for sure."
True. Knew their was a reason they've been getting their collected asses whipped.. still shocking that the mentality was taught and expected to succeed.
