Two items in the world's WORST newspaper....

...the Wichita Eagle....about quarterbacks...

One is a story about AMart taking the reins at KSU.....The other one is about Avery Johnson, qb at Maize...from the TONE of the article, does not sound like we are in his future...some bigger names than us in the picture....

no links...sorry...that paper is so weak, except for one reporter, who is getting worked to death....

You apparently have not read the Salina Daily Disappointment. I understand there isn't even a building here anymore and paper comes from Hutch. So much for local coverage.

you’ve never blown 5 minutes (and covered your hands & clothes with newsprint) like you would perusing the daily oklahoman.
gundy had it right, it’s garbage.

If the Tuesday paper has Monday nights game, it’s 1000% better than the Eagle….. maybe 10,000% better! If it does not happen by 6 pm it’s not in the next day paper … ever!!

honestly, I couldn’t tell you and they have a pay wall and it’s not worth it.
is the eagle still printed in Wichita?
in regards to that issue, to be fair, the oklahoman comes outta dallas now, I think.
timing issue is kicking print big time.
that being said, I dropped it long before.

can I mention that I have a memory from the Eagle circa Jan 2nd 1984 when Fred Mann wrote the best sports editorial…?
