Groce?crazy how terrible special teams became. I don't recall them being horrid under even riley.
is Johnny Rodgers statistically the greatest NU return man ever?
perhaps, I can't think of any rocket ismails types since rodgers, who really stood out at returnsGroce?
Pierson-El had a good freshman season but was plagued by injuries. I think he had 3 returns his freshman year for touchdowns.perhaps, I can't think of any rocket ismails types since rodgers, who really stood out at returns
As a child of the late 70s and early 80s, I salute you and this comment. We've got Busch!
Tyrone Hughes averaged nearly 13 yards/return over his 4 year career at NU returning punts. For perspective, his career average would have ranked in the top 10 this year. He also returned punts in the NFL - he has to rank up there in as one of the better returners in NU history.Pierson-El had a good freshman season but was plagued by injuries. In 1984, Shane Swanson average 14.5 yard on 19 returns, including this TD that broke a 3-3 tie with Zero State:Tyrone Hughes averaged nearly 13 yards/return over his 4 year career at NU returning punts. He has experienceThis has probably been asked before but what experience does Busch have with special teams. I'm not slamming this hire because I love what Busch has done for Nebraska in the past and his recruiting skills along with Joseph are top shelf. I'm just wondering if he's coached special teams in the past. Great hire in my opinion, smart man with ties to the state.
Wow. He’s moved around a lot.He has experience

Any poster up here, putting in an honest effort, and armed with nothing but youtube, would be better than what we got.Do you think he's better than what we got?
The very definition of a "grizzled veteran."I'm not sure if I'm more excited about is 1,000 years of experience at Nebraska Wesleyan or concerned it took him so long to finish a graduate degree.

Seems James Franklin might be on to something..Does he have a hot wife? A certain minnesota troll wants to know…
I think I heard his LSU contract went through March. So he may have been milking the pay until the end. But I sure hope it’s that we have a RB coach figured out.Must mean Frost now has the RB Coaching position figured out as well, although probably still requiring the final contract agreement on terms before officially announcing it. Otherwise there really wouldn't have been any other reason to wait for the formal Busch announcement except for figuring out the RB coaching situation.
I know we paid Bruce Reed a lot and had sub-par special teams performance.crazy how terrible special teams became. I don't recall them being horrid under even riley.

Damn, I miss the '80s.Yeah, and I think he did those returns minus a thumb he lost in a rodeo accident.
