Idk how that works with transfers. I don’t think we need an answer fast by any means. Get the guy you want and is gonna want to compete. Whether it’s Monday or February 12th
A seasoned QB looking to start next fall is going to want to be enrolled for the start of the second semester. February 12 is too late for that.
Read this article which says that Whipple is a great hire, QB Whisper and the person to get Nebraska fixed.

Hey thanks for that link. That really deserves a thread of it's own. Knowing now that Whipple was Chip's mentor kind of makes his hire make more sense now. I am a LOT more optimistic about how this could work meshing with Frost's offense and our roster. QBs should be lining up to play for the guy given his resume in coaching QBs both in college and the NFL.
Lots of passing. Fewer mistakes with a more disciplined OC. Pocket passing QB.
On BRWU, Sean Callahan said a transfer portal guy only has to sign a day before 2nd semester classes start, so they will have a much longer timeframe to decide.
It will be interesting to see how long Alberts will give for this to work. I think a bowl game would be enough for Frost to survive to 2023.
Wonder if we will hear anything this week. Transfers don't have to declare this week. They would just need to be enrolled prior to the spring semester
Hopefully we hear something soon and successfully grab one of our top targets. I'm anxious to begin drinking the koolaid if it's a big name QB.
