I was hoping Danniels would comeback, but knew it was probably a long shot. Thomas surprised me. But they both walked and Chin said he expected everyone that walked on defense would be gone.

I think everyone that walked has now made an announcement, except AM. And I wonder if we might not hear that one until after the OC is announced.

You know I’m right and don’t be mad because I’m stating fact. The QBs were running for their lives. Often couldn’t get run yardage when it mattered. Can’t block or pass pro. Often held during crucial drives. Need I go on?

Now if we can find a O-line coach with even mediocre teaching skills to coach these guys up, we’ll be light years ahead of what we had.

I don’t think we have big ten linebackers - that def line masked a lot very average talent at linebacker

the LBs were young so perhaps they grow up - they are going to need to

It's kind of amazing the amount of tackles these guys amassed yet still missed so many. Our DL did some good work and the good news is TT is our best coach imo so I don't expect a big drop off.

Weaver and

We will have Rodgers and Robinson at DE’s and Riley/Nash at NT. Of course we played a 4-2-5 most of this season. Robinson and Rodgers are pretty proven/battle tested, but not much else for proven depth. Need some guys like Newsome, Black, Weaver to step up.

You could be right and we go after all these positions. But what does that tell us about this program after 4 years? Poor recruiting, poor retention, poor development of all of the above? Somewhere along the way, a poorly manages system breaks down.

We could be in serious trouble next year with all the attrition. It's not like we were overly talented to start with.
These guys wouldn't have to make a decision on to come back if it hadn't been for covid. Most of them would have been out of eligibility this year any way. If you are not into school, why come back? To satisfy the fans,?

Frost and staff have never been bad at picking players. His problem is he can’t manage them, coach them or game day plan them.

I think we could stand to be a little thicker at linebacker. Hopefully our young backers can add a little good weight this off season.

We need NFL talent at LB and we don't have it currently. I'm disappointed that the current starters haven't been recruited over. They do play hard and have been developed nicely, but we need real talent.

I think we have a couple of kids who could develop in to NFL players. Everybody thought JoJo was a wasted scholarship his first year. Reimers has the speed and want to but he needs to get stronger. Henrich is going to be good I think but could stand to be 10-15 lbs heavier maybe.

apparently some older wealthy NU fans who understand the run game, will use nil money to assemble a much more ground game focused team with the transfer portal....this is between boosters and trev, frost will have no say...
If I'm reading this right, you sir are a genius and this is exactly the approach that needs to be taken to lure some top players here for next year.

Really? No D1 coach does this. Imagine this, 1st day of practice new guy comes in and is with starting unit, tells all the other backs , hey Frosty told me I’m starting hold my beer. Doesn’t happen
Nothing would surprise me with Frosted Flake

Why would any RB want to play under Frost. They have mis-managed RBs all season long. Ill be surprised of we dont have a couple leave. Frost is going to have to go to one of the highest rated backs and guarantee them the starting spot Just to get them to come here.
NIL money..

You don't lure them with the traditional recruiting stuff. You recruit them with a promise of a 6-7 figure NIL payday.

You put that kind of thing in front of some of these portal players, you will get takers.

It has the possibility of being a game changer (hate the cliche, but it could be true).

Wherever the sky is falling constantly it seems.
was hoping id get a reply from westcoast so I could direct him to either the ocean, lake, or even a shallow puddle to drown himself in or to the highest peak to take a hop head first into jagged granite.
