This would be a really good pickup. Wish Nebraska had some positive momentum to help with a recruiting pitch.

Read that tennessee and Ole miss would be his most likely landing spots if he stays p5. Would be really cool if we got him

He's not coming to Nebraska, especially if he has SEC schools recruiting him
Don’t discount it. Most transfer QB’s want a situation that makes winning the job worth the transfer. It didn’t exactly work out for our ex-backup - he’s riding pine at Rice. However, Dillon looks like a strapping lad.

I think they will have a hard time getting a good portal QB.

1. Crotch rot's undying love for Azz2mouth
2. How many good qb will want to come play for a stone cold loser?
3. With a new OC/QB coach in the fold, will a good QB want to risk playing in a revamped system, where everyone is learning?
4. No established big play WR
And if 2AM comes back, no QB no matter how good will get a chance to start.

Bet most of these guys are being recruited off active rosters. They likely know where they're going before they ever enter the portal.

No QB is going to choose to play for Scott Frost over Lane Kiffin

We may, but Smothers may have just quashed that
I am really positive about Logan, especially after seeing his post game press conference.

That is still a very young kid, who was very nervous to face the media after the loss.

He said what he was supposed to say, but the thing that stood out to me was you could just see how upset he was about how the game ended up. He took it very seriously, and I appreciated seeing that from him.

I came away from that video saying to myself, Logan is going to turn out okay. Sure he still has things to work on, but I'm not worried about him in the same way I was worried about AM. I can't exactly put my finger on what it is, but I think he's going to be okay for us in the future.

Don't we need a little more than OK?
yeah sorry, all I am saying here is Logan is a normal football player with apparent confidence and competitiveness.

Not trying to pick the next heisman winner.. just we don't need another head case at the position, and I don't think we have that problem in the future.

How exactly did the fraud lock him up?

He would if he’s riding pine
I’m sure with his resume and remaining eligibility he is going to choose a destination where he has little competition for the starting spot. It would be smart for Frost to inquire, especially if AM is gone, but I’m not sure he would be a lock to beat out Smothers and that might push him away. Smothers absolutely lost the game but it’s forgivable and he had solid flashes to start to a career.

I loved seeing Smothers. Frost is a chump for not playing him sooner.

I think Gabriel is way overrated and far from my first choice, but yes, he is better than what we have.
