He needs to do the right thing and resign. Trev can also come out and say part of frost staying was winning one of these last 2 games. Who the hell is going to be excited about next year.?? Dude is 3-9 in year 4 and a loser. LOSER!!!

I'm now on that bandwagon. This team just finds ways to lose games under him and I'm sick of it. What happened to the unpredictable playcalling from the first half? As usual, we go away from what's working and try to make our QB into a dropback passer like he's Tom Brady. Not only is he not (obviously), but our OL isn't good enough to give the QB any time to find downfield WRs. Our special teams is terrible, yet again. Also, have we ran a single trick play under Frost? Seriously, I don't recall any.

I’m sorry.. but changing offense coaches won’t make this any better... he’s 3-9 in year 4... you can’t change that and make the fans think we are close or something... we are not close... sorry

People were stoked on Frost for what he did at UCF, unfortunately for Frost is that you need to be good in all phases of the game to win in the Big Ten. Scott, please go back to UCF.

I mean at what point do Special Teams matter to this clown of a coach? “It’s specialists”. Is he serious? He is such an idiot. I don’t want him to be successful here. He is arrogant and dumb. He is allergic to winning and hard work. I hate Scott Frost. I hope he takes his buyout money and loses it to a pyramid scheme.

And you never once said that when he was a player for the Huskers. Instead you creamed in your jeans over him.
Who cares. He is OUR COACH. The guy is 46 years old and makes $5MM a year and can’t field a competent Special Teams. I don’t give a crap how he was as a player.

He better freaking hire a ST coach. The last comment he had of "depends how we hire" or whatever....screw that. Hire a ******* ST coach. How many games were lost this year just because of sloppy ST play?

We are the Kansas of the Big10 and our stadium will show it next year. People will show up for the first game, but after that, half empty. How do you keep this guy.

UCF wth?! Who gives 2 half *****?!
The only thing to consider is the record here, and it’s atrocious.
Trev, you got the reduced contract - pull the trigger.
frank, bo, and mike got fired with better records…

I agree for the first time to fire him. What others have said about ST, his arrogance, and I think he makes the game too complex. Two plays to get 3 yards today in the 4th and we run another garbage quick pass to the left flat for nothing. Run the ball there, damn it. His faults are a result of his personality it seems, and if that is true it will never change. Get lost.

The bottom line is Scott doesn’t believe he can win at this level and that attitude is instilled in his staff and players. If you see yourself as a loser, you find a way to lose and he’s proven himself there. We’ll need to clean house but it most likely won’t happen until Nov 2022…in the meantime it’s going to be a long year.

Can we fire him after we lose the first game in Ireland next year? Or is the buyout only lowered if he coaches the full season?

Iowa is so bad that all NU had to do was not do what it did in the second half and they would have won.

The fans showing up is exactly the reason we are on to year 5 - the standard you support is the standard you will accept

Wait until next year and then you will apologize. We will be 11-1. We are building to something special. This year was the hardest schedule in the nation and should have been 9-3. Just some bad breaks. But the kids want it and are ready to start lifting hard.

This ‘close to winning‘ but losing in a comedy of errors is unbelievably comical, you couldn’t get a bet in Vegas on this feat of extraordinary happenings and results.

if Frost got a DWI, I’d understand crawling into the bottle, like Ray Milland in “The Lost Weekend”

I knew who posted this comment without seeing who posted this comment. Everyone knows you're Scott Frost. You even wait until AFTER every game to post because you're busy during the game thread.

Why should he quit? The schedule next year is weak and even he should be 7-5. He'll be a hero and set for years and maybe even sign an extension. I know you think I'm being smart but think of the past. He signed big extension with bad record.

All I can say is special teams win games or in our case we lose 90% of them that way!

This may be right ...not sure he was always this way but after these last few years I believe he does expect to lose and the players have picked up on that. The team lack vocal leaders on the line who are arrogant and violent. Scott wants to outscheme teams - maybe we just need to punch harder.

Good point. I think we are clearly seeing the massive difference between the B1G week-to-week and the league UCF is in.

This is why I say that Luke Fickel at Cincinnati maybe is the same version. He's doing wonders where he is now in a much lesser league, but put him in most Power 5 leagues and not convinced you wouldn't see some struggles-- likely not as bad as Frost has had, but there would be struggles.

Kind of like Gary Patterson at TCU and Kyle Whittingham at Utah. They dominated against inferior Mountain West teams but were only average when they got invited to Power 5 conferences and had to play real competition week in and week out.
