It kind of makes it sound as if it isn't a done deal yet. I really thought they already had the guy they wanted when they canned Lubick. IF not, they must really have been unhappy with Lubick.

by law they have to put it out there as a job opening, but it could have still been "verbally filled" before all this started happening.

Because there is little noise about it, my expectation is still that it's already been done and we are just waiting until the end of the season so we can make the announcements.

Whoever Alvarez recommends, we should definitely not hire. Alvarez probably makes crappy recommendations because he wants Wisconsin to keep beating Nebraska year after year.
