While I know this isn't Husker related, the name has been mentioned here as a coach to watch.

FWIW, I absolutely thought it was brilliant and showed a good amount of forethought to be coaching beyond the confines of the current game and optimizing your position for potential tie-breakers. Lincoln Riley can throw a fit all he wants. I loved it!

Yes it was brilliant. But if watch the clock they had to run another play no matter what. I think that is being overshadowed. When the play is over there is 43 seconds left on the clock. So with 40 second play clock there would be 3 seconds left which if rewatch the kick there was 3 seconds left. So lincoln Rileysmeltdown was about nothing because another play had to be taken timeout or not. Just would have been a delay of game.but obvisliouly you could just kneel it but he kicked it for a tiebreaker extra points which was genius. Not many coaches would think about that.

Riley is a petulant child. He’s a poor loser and a classless winner. Can’t stand him.

I think that at this point he HAS to be at the top of the list to land LSU's job.

Why would he leave? Only reason I'd see that is if LSU offers some insane 8 figure salary, but Riley's not making a lateral, at best, move for the same salary.

I was implying that Aranda had to be at the top of LSU's list. That said, rrthusker says he's hearing that LSU has offered Riley 95 million over 10 years.
