So i watched the post game press conference, and around the 7:30 mark, Scott is asked about putting in another QB for the future or something to this extent.

He says, that is no story.. basically that he's not even considering it, and AM is the best QB.

He says we are going to play the guy that gives him the best chance to win, and that is Adrian.. (has he been keeping tabs on the season?)

The VERY NEXT QUESTION

He is asked about "edge" and he says, they need a "Gritty Competitor that's going to get it done when it matters"

He's clearly too effing stupid to see that those two questions are related, and he has incompatible answers.

I was shocked that he can't see this.

Pride comes before the fall... this is going to be extremely painful for the next few weeks. I see every QB behind AM hitting the portal if both come back next year.

Yep. Stubborn and blinded by his stubbornness. Frost let the QB position got to hell by making it clear that AMart was going to be his starter for four or five years no matter what. Transfer portal QB? Hahahahaha. No way they are better than AMart. Juco transfer? Lolololol. Who am I? Bill Snyder? The fact is Frost gambled his whole career on AMart and he lost. He also gambled his whole career on assistants like Austin and Harry Potter. Lost there too. He has nobody to blame but himself.

He has no other option.

What's he going to do, play for next season?

Fact is, this staff went all in on AM. All chips pushed to the center of the table.

And did not address the issue that became plainly obvious starting in 2019 after "inexperienced" was no longer an excuse.

They lost. They're holding a pair of deuces while everyone they go up against has a straight or a full house.

Kid is the polar opposite of a "gritty competitor that gets it done when it matters".

In fact, in all my years of watching sports, I am hard pressed to ever remember a starter -- in any sport -- that was more opposite of that description than AM.

I think he had another option, he could have changed course and used the remaining 4 games to play for next season.

Those 4 games, would not burn any redshirts, and he could have made the decision and pivot right then, over the bye week.

Like was said, he's too stubborn to admit he made a mistake, or too blind to see it.

We gain nothing by keeping him and martinez going another year.

I stopped listening to his pressers 2 years ago. Its the exact same schtick every single presser. Too arrogant and stubborn to think he could be doing anything wrong. Enjoy your OC or Offensive analyst job at UCLA or Bama and let someone else have a shot at restoring the program.

It is why I laugh at people that want to keep frost and get rid of his assistants. Frost is the root cause of the problem.

Guess which QB had a score too low to fit on this graphic. Of course it’s AM

Yes I thought forcing Frost to change assistants would make a difference, but he has too much pride and arrogance. He would rather go down with the ship instead of admit he was wrong.

This quote from JoJo caught my attention:

JoJo Domann, searching for an answer, said “We’re doing what the coaches tell us. We’re still in the same situation.”

You are surprised that the biggest loser in Husker football coaching history can’t see this???

When Scott Frost was hired I truly thought we were getting an intelligent head coach. Man, was I waaay off. All we got was an arrogant, stubborn dumb@ss. I mean seriously, how did he initially get into to Stanford to begin with?

I'm jumping off this wagon before the wheels fall off.

AM likely is the best qb on the roster. That this is still the case 4 years in tells you all you need to know about the Frost era.

Agree. And had he done that I think a lot of us would have a different, or at least not as strong of a feeling that he must go.

Who is the ignorant bastard that put Cam Taylor-Brit on the freaking hands team? We all know him and footballs don't get along.

Stubborn is a way of life and it will be on full display next Saturday. 3 games to get in a bowl game. If Nebraska is getting prison raped by OSU at halftime and we see Martinez trot out in the 2nd quarter - that is a big FU to Nebraska fans.
You are absolutely correct. It would be a giant FU to the half empty stadium.

I think the wheels are off. The wagon is sitting flat on its undercarriage, it’s on fire, and the only people left on it believe it’s fire retardant upholstery will keep them safe.

I think we're looking at a scorched earth scenario here. Since none of us know how this plays out, or what agreements that SF and TA may have already made.

IF SF returns, then so does AM. That means all the backup QB's may as well bring seat cushions to the game. If SF is being given one more year, then it's likely some of the young talent that has been on the bench may hit the portal.

Kids like Morrison, Nixon, Scott, Yant, etc., may be tired of just sitting, or not (at least in their mind) having ever been given a real chance. Why would a kid like Smothers stick around if AM returns?

IF SF and TA have an agreement that SF is done at the end of this year, it will be more of AM and like someone said, a big FU to the fans.

I could see SF somewhat sabotaging the program during this last month.
That may be too strong of a word, but we all heard for a couple years what lousy condition Riley left it in. The last thing this egomaniac would want is some other coach coming in, enjoying some 8-4 type success and highlighting how lousy of a HC he really was.

A Head Coach who won't even address the team after a loss is a coach who is checked out mentally. I mean you have to at least "fake it", don't you?

The idea of trotting AM out there with 4 interceptions in a game, which, although a longshot, is still winnable, has lost the desire to fight, and has quit on his team. Not addressing them in the locker room says it all.

IF OSU really spanks NU's *** next week, and the fans are expressing their disapproval, should be enough to nudge TA to do what needs to be done.

Agree or disagree, it's just my opinion.

I don’t think Trev needs any nudging.. It’s a matter of time I wether it’s next Sunday or after Black Friday..

Yeah, I don't think it has to be a scorched earth scenario, but if it were me, I'd be getting Frost to resign and handing the keys to the car to Chins. He has at least been able to execute the plan, and it would be the least disruptive. Chins doesn't have to play AM. He'd be stupid to do that. You give him a chance to see what he can do given 3 more games on the roster.

I think this should have been done 2 weeks ago during the bye week.

Anyway, that gives you a chance to make changes from within, without burning the whole thing down again.

To me, the problem is Frost and his hangup on AM.

You take those two out of the scenario, and things could start looking up quickly.

You start bringing in a whole new head coach, and his entire staff, it's a big setback, but not insurmountable either.

I just think it would be wise to give Chins a try with the remaining games you got left.

You aren't doing anyone any favors waiting to cut Frost until after the Iowa game.. better to get ahead of it now.

SF will not resign, his ego won’t let him. He had his shot and has failed. IDK how we can defend him? If it was another coach with no Nebraska ties we would have run his *** out by now.
