That should probably close the chapter on this era of husker football.

What a shame.

Johnny, this may be the end for Martinez. If not, it should be the end of Frost.

Has a coach so heralded ever hitched his whole tenure to one QB? A coach in his fourth season at that. In 2017 there was love, kissing babies, the Cornuseum would see the black shirt gladiators again. Sure the first year sucked. It was Riley's fault. Okay the second year didn't start so well, but you "almost" beat Ohio State. Dang it , you mean the B1G is gonna deprive Frost his third year for some dumb virus? Oh okay, maybe they should have just stayed home. Mulligan.

Fourth year is the year!!!!! Illinois wins. Martinez still can't read a defense. There is no defense for him being out there for four years. Everybody but Frost can read that.

Another 3 years of rebuilding.

Tiring.

Not sure I have the heart left for this program. But..., I'm sure I'll hook on to the next coach whomever it may be.

Actually Nebraska got their stool pushed in year 2 48-7 by OSU. They "almost" beat Ohio State in year 1, which is why the "close games = progress" narrative for games this year has been largely misleading. Nebraska lost to Ohio State, Colorado and Iowa by a combined total of 13 points in 2018, exact same margin of defeat against Oklahoma, Michigan and Michigan State this year. Whoopty ****.

Well if Ohio State does it next week, Frost may be gone. I wonder if people actually may want the instant punishment to get to another era.
