He does a pretty good job following the head mans lead blaming players.Davison used to be really good on the radio. Praised the team when they deserved it and spoke candidly when they looked like crap. Maybe he can pivot 180 degrees and get back to doing that.

I don't know him personally. Encountered him a few times over the years. Pretty sure he used to do Husker baseball games, too. I'm also pretty sure he was the one who dressed up in the sasquatch costume and would randomly be seen on the outfield concourse. Which makes me like him.He will probably stay on the radio. He was there before Frost and seems to be a pretty good gig. Maybe he does leave, but you guys blow things way out of proportion sometimes.
Nick Joos was in a similar spot when he worked for the NU basketball program, was Danny Nee's buddy and did color on the radio broadcasts. It is was painful to listen to as well.He is employed by the athletic department - associate AD for football
I realize university network guys are homers but being close friends with the head coach and employed in the athletic department has to be rare for a commentary guy.
Fully agree with this. I used to listen to the radio when I was working during the games, but stopped a few years ago when he turned into way too much of a whiner.Don’t really care for him on the radio imo he has to much of a whiny voice, I’d love to see either Steve Taylor or Jeremiah serils in the booth with Gregg sharpe
Going into politics is the only way to make him less likable. He's going to replace Fartenberry.
Who says he's still friends with Frost? He is leaving for politics. Frosty friends are hitting the exit doors before the hammer comes.
A slimy used car salesman is right up thereGoing into politics is the only way to make him less likable.
