Basketball recruiting it a bit different than football. Since you only bring in a few players every year, it is important that they are the right players for the system. Plus, in state players have not yet bought into Husker basketball. Thankfully, others have.

Since we already have Lat Mayen, Derrick Walker, Trevor Lakes, Wilhelm Breidenbach, Oleg Kojenets, and Alonso Eduardo at 6'8" or taller, plus Bryce McGowans and Keon Edwards at 6'7", plus JUCO Blaise Keita coming in next year, height is not an issue.

We have 2 (6’9”) offensive tackles that have trouble bending at point of attack and play stiff. Just figured Nebraska would give a 6’4” high rated offensive lineman from Nebraska a shot..

he is a MAJOR project, my sons team played him, we had zero problems beating him, that includes both our starters and backups, he is athletic at his size, will need huge work in S&C and since our oline coach is awful, I have NO confidence he is the right one to get this kid to be a good olineman, wondering if, with his athleticism, it may be easier to make him a great d-end?

It's the other way around. Woods has shown zero 0.00 interest in Nebraska Football program for obvious reasons.

Agree. You just get some kids like that. Also, if you question Omaha kids about where anything else is in the state they literally have no idea, so maybe he just doesn't know where Lincoln is and thinks its out towards Scottsbluff and would be better off just playing closer to home.
