5 minutes to go and Iowa State retakes the lead. This would be Matt Campbell's 10th win against a ranked team at Iowa State.
Time for some dipsh*t to come belch up how bad both of these coaches are and how Illinois would somehow beat them both…
Think Okie St got screwed on that 4th down spot. The receiver's body never touched the ground until he was across the 40. He was laying on other guys and rolled inside the line to make. But didn't figure they'd overturn the call.
Terrible spot. They picked up the first on that last play. The guys torso was across the 40 for Christ sake. Still, I think they said he was 5-1 in his last 6 one score games. Seems like he can pull out a win more than not.

They apparently didn't have the camera angle from the side of the field where the ref spotted him short. The guy with his back to the camera came running in with his foot at least a foot further up the field than the guy whose spot they used. Unfortunately I don't think they view they had of the pile up was good enough to overturn what may have been a bad spot from the far ref.
No, Frost sucks and I hope this is his last year, which I have said over and over and over.

I don’t think the students worry about a point spread. It’s the W that counts but you wouldn’t know about that.
They take care of business more times than not. Can guarantee Oklahoma State recruits better players than Iowa State too.
Being a pathetic program for several years has really taken its toll on some of the “greatest fans”. So with that posters logic, Iowa fans were right back when they claimed Nebraska didn’t belong in the top 10 year after year and that our record was lame because we only played one tough team for many years in the Big 8.
Yeah, Campbell's beaten more Top 10 teams at lowly Iowa State, than the entire Nebraska football program has beaten in the last 20 years. But somehow he wouldn't be a good enough hire for our esteemed football program
He'll end up leading USC or some other blue-blood program back to prominence, and some will still say he's overrated because he couldn't win meaningless non-conference games against Iowa.
