I'm sure he is smart enough to bring in multiple bodies to find the right guy even if he brought the QB with. Not every coach is as dumb as Scott Frost is.

also coastal runs our exact same offense

McCall is slower than AM (probably), but also never makes mistakes, is super decisive and accurate (which >>>>> footspeed)

Adrian is such a frustrating player. He dazzles you one minute with a play he makes and then he makes a high school mistake. He's bailed us out of third and forevers in multiple games this year....and then fumbles the ball on a crucial last drive or does some other silly thing. Sigh. He didn't come out ready against Minnesota. That tells me he doesn't have the make up to win regardless of how much talent he has.

you don't get to be the losingest QB in school history without talent

though, I think basically everything about his 'game' just makes it harder to play offense than if we had the most conservative of game managers

His O line hasn't helped him but damn he's pulled some bone headed moves for a senior. Less this year but damn. If he was not able to run the ball Saturday I don't understand the logic that
keeps him in the lineup. It's the only thing I see that makes the rest of it worth it.
