With the extra year granted across the board, it should contribute to a fertile couple of years for the portal if you can work it properly.

As the program stands right now this very second, how many good players with options are going to come here? It's no different than recruiting high school kids, they almost always take the best choice. Right now I could argue Wyoming is a better choice.

This is correct. That’s why I keep laughing at people who think Frost isn’t actually looking for a replacement at QB. The players want nothing to do with NU.

Considering Kansas was home to the best JUCO league in the country at that time, he was smart to load up. He would undoubtedly love the portal as well, but the JUCO will always be a part of it.

Speaking of which, the current #2 JUCO in the country is Iowa Western CC, which is a five minute drive from Omaha. Nebraska should be pulling a guy out of there every year.

cant believe for a minute that in 4 years we haven't been able to find a few possibles in the juco or portal in reguards to a qb backup or starter. almost as bad as the overall schizophrenic play. mighty sorry state of husker football
