Scott Frost at Nebraska after bye weeks:
  • 2018 — L at home vs. Colorado (game previous week was canceled)
  • 2019 — L at home vs. Indiana
  • 2019 — L at home vs. Wisconsin
  • 2020 — L at Northwestern
I'm sensing a pattern.

as of now I don’t see this team winning anymore games then trev has a tough decision do you pull the trigger or have Scott make changes especially in the offense and special teams say he does the latter how long do you give him to have a winning season? 2-3 more

At 3-7, Trev would have every right to send Scott packing during the bye week before Wisconsin and get a head start finding the next head coach.

I'm honestly surprised Frost hasn't found a way to add another L to the column in bye weeks.

I think we buck the trend and win big vs purdue. They’re terrible.

Early prediction - NU 41-17

IMPORTANT NOTE: please save the ‘they just beat the #2 team in the country!’ posts. they beat iowa & the worst offense in the worst offensive conference in the country.

Autman-Bell just lit us up and I think David Bell might do the same. I will say that Scott Frost seems to do a little better against Purdue than other teams. Maybe because they suck, or maybe because he has Brohm figured out the way Brohm has Iowa figured out.

Brohm is 4-1 versus Iowa and 3-1 versus Nebraska. Frost is 1-2 versus Purdue, with last year being the only victory. We blocked a punt to set up a 1-yard TD drive, and Connor Culp was 3-of-3 on field goals. I don't see that Frost has figured out anything other than how to harass Purdue's backup punter and that his kicker can hit FGs in an empty stadium.

Frost is 6-14 against the West, but if you take away his record versus the departed Lovie Smith, he's 4-15 against the current set of West coaches.

Four wins, 15 losses. Against his "peers."

To be fair, Frost has lost a whole lot more than he has won. It makes it easy to come up with losing observations.

Did you know Frost is 1-6 when there is a full moon?
He is 0-5 on wet turf.
Scott has gone 1-8 when the wind is blow out of the NW.
NU is 2-16 under Frost when playing a team with a mascot that is an animal.

The only pattern that matters at this point is 15-25.

2-16? Damn. Do Hawkeyes count as animals, or just animal parts? ;)

those numbers are sad, i know we suck but putting those numbers in my face is downright humiliating.

Well, statistically speaking any Nebraska game at any time (following bye week or not) usually ends in an "L". The pattern is that we lose. A lot.

I don’t think the Purdue game is going to be easy. Of the four teams left it could be the least difficult, but Frost, the staff, and this team doesn’t perform well under pressure. They need to win 3 out of 4 to make a bowl and they are not mentally strong enough to pull it off.
