Why?
A conference rival in our own division. Our only border state rival in the entire conference. And they just got whooped at home by a pretty average Purdue team whilst ranked #2 in the country on Homecoming day.RollingLaugh
At the very least it should be amusing and bring about a chuckle or two.
Next year marks 150 years of football with very little to show for it for the Shitbirds. It is also the 100th anniversary of the last time they were undefeated. I admire and pity them at the same time. We have been playing at or near their level for ten years and I am doubting my fandom a bit...
Iowa is good but not great and I think most knowledgeable Iowa fans understood they were no way even close to being #2. I just can’t bring myself to make fun of other teams when ours has been sucking so badly.
Having the worst offense in the worst conference for offense is good?

Frost is loyal to his players. That is a noble trait but isn’t good for winning around here. Wish he could have found the next McKenzie Milton!
As an Iowa fan I would just like say, Hold on a sec, Just watching David Bell catch another pass, Anyway, Iowa’s offense Is truly offensive, Kinda amazing in this day and age that Iowa still recruits Qb’s that can’t out run their offensive tackles.
Sad thing is both our teams will have our QB's back next year for the senior season.

Not to turn this into a Hawkeye thread (wait ... it IS a Hawkeye thread), but what's the word on Hogan and Padilla? Everybody around the UI (where I work) was pretty pumped about Deuce a couple of years ago, but he's still third-string. And Padilla's seen only mop-up work.
The only way AD isn't the starter next year is because Frost is gone. If Scooter is back AD is taking the snaps and you know that's the truth.
Having heard from people who watch the practices they indicate Spencer looks better in practice, I had high hopes for Deuce Hogan but in reality he will probably hit the transfer portal. Padilla was a stud in High School but doesn't get the snaps come game day.
Was at a bonfire last night with some Iowa fans...let's just say we all had enough spirits to drown our sorrows that when I made coffee before I went to bed for the morning....I forgot to add the actual coffee and drank an entire mug of straight hot water before I realized my mistake. Church was a lil rough this morning....and we've zero right to laugh at any program right now.
