Like I have noted elsewhere the last week or so, main thing for the offense to fix now is redzone production for TD's.

Well we are 1-3 from the Oklahoma game to this point with huge costly mistakes in those games. I get that we have been competitive, but being competitive against those teams isn't exactly some groundbreaking achievement. Oklahoma has zero blowouts this year against FCS teams. Tulane was able to score on them easier than we were. Michigan State was probably our best game of the year all things considered, but again couldn't get it done when it matters. We need to start turning these games into victories.

I see you've forgotten the "I wish we could at least compete with these teams" days of Pelini and Riley.

I will take any sign of progress at this point and pray we don't try and blow it up again, because frankly I think another attempted rebuild would turn us into Kansas forever.

this costs money, so I don't have the full report, but I wonder what we are ranked on here?

About: Ranks and sorts all FBS Teams (2021) by the number of plays that kill the offensive momentum of a team. These plays included 10+ yard offensive penalties, non-converted fourth downs, missed field goals, interceptions, and fumbles lost. lol

What does that say about Frost assembling an entire team in year 4? One of our players turns Wisconsin and Penn State into undefeated programs and Frost actually has this difference maker and is presiding over a losing record.
A team laden with SUPER SENIORS and 4 years of the lowest point totals in Nebraska in over 50 years! With a SENIOR QB to boot!

Nobody cares about being close except Nebraska fans who live in state and are around other myopic people who have no damn clue how the rest of the country talks about the Huskers.

Win the damn games!!!

We’ve made progress, used to be when I went to the bars with my NEBRASKA gear on, I’d hear,’ are these jagoffs on tv again They suck!’. Well, I’d look around to see who the f#@k said that?! Then I realized, no fighting, dont punch that jag you don’t want to go back to prison for this.

Now, when I hit the bars, people say, ‘ great game ‘! You guys are good! The complements started after the OU game.

Not many people wanted to keep Pelini around at the end. I was certainly ready to move on from him, but so far he is a much better coach than Frost. Obviously Riley was a disaster and shouldn't have been hired.

As far as "blow it up again" we'll see how the season plays out. Sometimes you need to blow things up. Keeping around a losing coach is what makes us closer to Kansas than getting rid of the losing coach.
