We do need to figure out how to handle losing as fans. It's been tough for us to deal with.

You have had quite a bit of experience with it. Can you give us any tips on how to cope?
Can't remember, it was before the Hayden days.

So, I was not sure because I don't follow Iowa football but I checked and over the last 10 years Iowa finished ranked 4 times.

During that time, NU finished ranked twice.

This is what Iowa fan brags about. My god.

Selective memory?

In Ferentz 22 complete season he has been rated top 25 only 9 times. Guess how many Nebraska has had in the same timeframe. Hint - it's the same.

Heck even his first 3 seasons he only won 11 games.

So again, how did you deal with that lack of success over the years?

Give it up. They have the right to brag on their board. You get that right when you have moral victories against Michigan and Oklahoma.
Or at least until you have won something more than an undefeated regular season. Nice rings btw.

This is arguably the funniest and most delusional board I've ever seen
you've been here since Christmas Eve (lol, classic ioaw fan spending the holidays thinking about Nebraska football) of 2004!

that's 17 straight years of bookmarking the Husker board and visiting weekly.

little brother can't help himself

I haven't read the last several pages, but I'll say this....if any Iowa fan thinks they are making the college football playoff when their offense is tied for the 4th most punts of any D1 school in college football, then they are delusional.

Wait, isn't Kirk the ***** that complained about Frost complaining about the coaches and players clapping?

Does Kirk ever shut up? He bitches a lot for a guy that has never won anything other than winning the lotto with the most generous AD ever.

Man that win was big for Iowa football and it’s future. Looking likely to land at least one 5* and flip about 4 prospects, all of which are committed to P5 schools.

I'll believe it when it actually happens!
