can 76000 people clap at the same time?

76k fans can't even clap in unison to their own fight song that they know by heart.
I've thought about this. Might have something to do with sound traveling at 367 yards/sec. If the band is on the field it takes time for their sound to reach people far away, like in the 600 section. Then time for them to clap and the sound of their claps to reach the other side of the stadium.
As a band geek - this is the case and results in a lot of out-of-time noise (clapping, "Go Huskers", and such) that can be distracting on the field if you're not focused/used to it.
This is compounded by the fact that the average human can't maintain tempo even if you tap their foot for them.
I thought you weren't supposed to clap. Last I knew your Snus chewing hillbilly coach said so anyway.
I would but you guys have something we don't. The best 3-4 team in the country.
If Coach Jim ever faces a team with a linebacker, first name "Hut", last name "Hike"...he will literally **** himself by the 3rd play of the game.

No.. its simple.. most of us were fortunate enough to watch our favorite football team win at the highest level...multiple times in fact which is saying a lot more than what you can say correct me if Im wrong? Its somethimg to be proud of.. its not about being relevant.. we may never see it again but the great news is we have lived it..you can only wish

That's not true. I was guaranteed when you guys joined the conference that you would dominate the B1G and roll to the championship game every year. The only time I remember you guys making it there, Russell Wilson put up 70 on your asses. What happened, I thought the B1G was weak? Maybe you guys wouldn't have been so successful in the 90s if you had to play Michigan and Ohio State every year. But like I said earlier, no one cares about Nebraska 30 years ago anyway so no point in wasting time talking about them.

Iowa still crying about politely being asked to stop blatantly imitating the snap count in an empty stadium. Meanwhile Nebraska is actually penalized for trying to get lined up and Harbaugh is in full on bawl baby mode, after getting the call and winning the game.

I know you guys are bragging about being the best 3 win team this year but I think Iowa State might give you guys a run for your money this year. Maybe you can catch them in a pillow fight at the end of the year if you guys can limp to 6 wins.
