I brought this up on Sat and I'm still not sure how I'd feel if he came here

his rivals ranking should've come with a planet-sized asterisk due to his seemingly insufferable personality

Funny...he and the dude from North Carolina were supposed to be the top QBs of the upcoming NFL draft. Not sure who that will be now...

Sam Howell (UNC) will still absolutely be a first rounder, likely top 10

others include the Ole Miss QB and Liberty's QB

there is no chance rattler leaves for the draft this year, IMO. he will 100% transfer elsewhere. don't be surprised if it's back home (ASU) or somewhere else on the west coast.

Yes, don't know why we wouldn't. With the way our qb room looks, can't afford to be too picky.

anyone in the f(l)ag football league catch your eye lately?
With any college eligibility left, probably not. It's funny how they can do basic things AM can't like going through multiple reads, keeping eyes downfield during a scramble, and understanding where the first down marker is and making the appropriate decision to get there. If an average flag football qb can do these things, I'd expect the qb of Nebraska to be able to do basic fundamental things like this.

darn. that's too bad.

do you think they'd have the same composure if the defense didn't have to count to 5 Mississippi before rushing? what about if they were allowed to be tackled?

The qb can be rushed right away. Being tackled is a good point, but at the same time, college qb's have all year round to prepare for that and be able to handle that while not letting fundamental qb skills go to ****.

Nebraska puts one guy in the league every other year (at least it feels that way) so ask yourself if you'd go to that program if you were him. He should go to the NFL regardless. His stock can only go lower if he doesn't.

I am one who thinks all the guys who've played their full 4 years of eligibility should be encouraged not to return

college football is not for 23+ year olds, and it's not for guys to start 50+ games
That doesn't mean that he won't come back. I would bet that Frost would take him back if he wants to come back.

Im sure Martinez looks pretty good in 7on7 as well.

All I can say is that I am happy he played the whole game against us. Because that Freshman QB of theirs is dynamite and probably would have ripped our defense a new one.

How in the world could you say no to him? If he does Frost, should create some packages for Smothers and use them in meaningful situations each game.

My seats are on the south end zone.......gives me a great view of Adrian. He does not look at any receiver except whomever his primary receiver is for that play. There were numerous plays that ended with nothing because of his tunnel vision when there actaully was an open receiver on the other side of the field.

The fact that he was suspended from his high school team, halfway through his senior season, should have been a huge red flag.

Have you ever seen a guy's draft stock change so much in half a season (not counting players that suffered serious injuries of course)? The guy was the projected first pick in the draft ad now appears to be a backup on his own team.

I can't think of one, I mean unless there was criminal stuff I suppose.

all I knew about spencer is oklahoma musta thought he was ok..
and he won against us. I did'nt know how much time he had left, or that he had personality issues.

I was just looking at it as,
what if martinez gets tommy armstronged against osu,
and smothers has a johnny stanton problem...

I was thinking worst case senerio/qb depth with this post..
because it can happen, we can get down to the terminator area on the depth chart and we don't have a lp.
