Sam Howell (UNC) will still absolutely be a first rounder, likely top 10Funny...he and the dude from North Carolina were supposed to be the top QBs of the upcoming NFL draft. Not sure who that will be now...
anyone in the f(l)ag football league catch your eye lately?Yes, don't know why we wouldn't. With the way our qb room looks, can't afford to be too picky.
I am one who thinks all the guys who've played their full 4 years of eligibility should be encouraged not to returnHe wouldn't come to Nebraska if Martinez comes back.
With any college eligibility left, probably not. It's funny how they can do basic things AM can't like going through multiple reads, keeping eyes downfield during a scramble, and understanding where the first down marker is and making the appropriate decision to get there. If an average flag football qb can do these things, I'd expect the qb of Nebraska to be able to do basic fundamental things like this.anyone in the f(l)ag football league catch your eye lately?

The qb can be rushed right away. Being tackled is a good point, but at the same time, college qb's have all year round to prepare for that and be able to handle that while not letting fundamental qb skills go to ****.darn. that's too bad.
do you think they'd have the same composure if the defense didn't have to count to 5 Mississippi before rushing? what about if they were allowed to be tackled?

That doesn't mean that he won't come back. I would bet that Frost would take him back if he wants to come back.I am one who thinks all the guys who've played their full 4 years of eligibility should be encouraged not to return
college football is not for 23+ year olds, and it's not for guys to start 50+ games
Im sure Martinez looks pretty good in 7on7 as well. With any college eligibility left, probably not. We'll see him next year. All I can say is that I am happy he played the whole game against us. Because that Freshman QB of theirs is dynamite and probably would have ripped our defense a new one.
Geez. Yet another Iowa fan lurking on our board. We really do seem to live rent free in your heads.Adrian is better. Ship him our way if you don't want him.
about being a NU qb thru the transfer portal?
looks like he's getting replace at oklahoma, but he's proven he can win games.

I wouldn't contact anyone until they actually enter the portal.I'd contact Jack Miller at OSU, first.
Rent free? The price is right.Geez. Yet another Iowa fan lurking on our board. We really do seem to live rent free in your heads.
Oklahoma's QB coach is better than what we have.Hell no. As Scott famously said...."Is he better than what we have?"
How in the world could you say no to him? If he does Frost, should create some packages for Smothers and use them in meaningful situations each game. That doesn't mean that he won't come back. I would bet that Frost would take him back if he wants to come back.
My seats are on the south end zone.......gives me a great view of Adrian. He does not look at any receiver except whomever his primary receiver is for that play. There were numerous plays that ended with nothing because of his tunnel vision when there actaully was an open receiver on the other side of the field. With any college eligibility left, probably not. The fact that he was suspended from his high school team, halfway through his senior season, should have been a huge red flag.I brought this up on Sat and I'm still not sure how I'd feel if he came here
his rivals ranking should've come with a planet-sized asterisk due to his seemingly insufferable personality
So are the qb coaches in old jars flag football leagueOklahoma's QB coach is better than what we have.

I can't think of one, I mean unless there was criminal stuff I suppose.Have you ever seen a guy's draft stock change so much in half a season (not counting players that suffered serious injuries of course)? The guy was the projected first pick in the draft ad now appears to be a backup on his own team.
