Shirley you're not serious the B1G (4 in the top 10, SEC 2 in the top 10) is the worst of the P5 conferences? A week ago the ACC didn't even have a team in the top 20!!!!!

you made this link your signature? lol DM me where you want your autograph sent

we'll see where they end the year. my guess? b1g will be tied for worst p5 conference with the big12, pac12 and acc and will be under .500 in bowl games.

the polls overrating b1g teams is not new

"The Big Ten sucks"

No it doesn't. And as usual you can't back up your low-IQ comments.

B1g will go under .500 in bowl games.

It’s week 6. This is exactly when small brains like you watch plodding games and think both teams are good (they’re not).

I wouldn’t be surprised if this terrible conference has the worst bowl record of P5 this year.

Using week 6 rankings as proof the b1g is good is the same as using money to say it’s prestigious. Classic b1g fan move

That is the most misunderstood and misstated line from any movie ever. The line was "I'm your huckle bearer". The huckle was the hinged handle on a coffin. Doc was telling him in veiled language "I'm going to put you in the grave."
Val Kilmer should have gotten the best supporting actor oscar for Tombstone. He is the definition of how we now imagine Doc Holliday. That movie is also among the best 5 westerns ever made.

Love love love westerns...but Tombstone wouldn't crack my top 100. The scene where they're riding horses chasing the bad guys and they reach over to shake each others hands has to be the gayest scene in any movie ever, Brokeback Mountain not withstanding.

It doesn’t sound like that in the movie.. Sounds like Huckleberry..

You are correct with that meaning of huckle bearer however it's been shown that the actual script reads "huckleberry" as per the writers as well as Val Killer's memoir which is titled "I'm your huckleberry". Roughly meaning "I'm the man you're looking for".

Except Kilmer didn't say "huckle bearer" - he said huckleberry. Some grammarians claimed he messed up the line, but Kilmer says huckleberry is what was in the script. He even titled his autobiography I'm Your Huckleberry.

I haven’t seen every Western but Tombstone is in my Top 5 and the other 4 are Clint Eastwood films. High Plains Drifter is my all time favorite. I don’t know if anything can top that story about revenge and retribution in the Wild West.

You'd like the bathroom in Parkers in Ashland...adorned with Clint movie posters...sometimes I go in even if I don't have to pee. OK that's a lie, I'm usually a bottle of wine or 4 beers in when i'm there and have to pee....but I'm glad to have those posters to look at while I'm struggling to hold up my anaconda. OK that's a lie to.

I've always considered Tombstone a mediocre movie buoyed by great performances - Kilmer's being at the top of the list. From Powers Boothe to the minor roles by Charlton Heston and Billy Bob Thornton, lots of great acting in that film.

Tombstone also shines in part because it came out around the same time as that marathon shitfest Wyatt Earp. I don't dislike Kevin Kostner, but that was one of his worst projects.

I think they both suck so equally bad I've gotten the two mixed up many times.

Red Foxx should have gotten best supporting actor for Tombstone cause I'm pretty sure Val Kilmer modeled his role as Doc Holiday after ole Red clutching his chest telling everyone he was gonna die every 5 minutes.

What is the meaning of “I'm your huckleberry,” said by Doc Holliday in the 1993 movie Tombstone? ... Basically “I'm your huckleberry” means “Name the place, and I'll go with you,” “Name the job and I can do it,” “I'll oblige you” or “I'm your man.”

It's funny because Kurt Russell might be the weakest of the main actors in the movie. Not that he was bad, but the others were just so damn legendary. The thing is, he took over as director and made the movie great.

Eastwood was the premier western actor and director for a couple decades. I would say Outlaw Josey Wales belongs in any list of best western films.

Imagine being such a dunce you use the oct 3rd media poll to ‘prove’ this terrible conference is anything but terrible

1 team in this league would finish higher than 6th in the SEC. maybe.

B1G, pac12 and big12 are all the same, except the best team in the pac12(maybe) beat the best team in the b1g @ their place & OU would beat them all.

So, the b1g is last of those 3, and 4th in P5, courtesy of the transitive property. A truly fraudulent league in every way.

This might be the dumbest stance you have taken, which is saying a lot.
It’s not even close. The B1G is EASILY the second best conference in the country. The media & fans of the ACC, PAC12, and Big12 will all tell you the same thing. I’m not sure why you are taking this stance other than you hate the B1G and are butthurt Nebraska struggles in it?
If you want anybody to remotely take anything you say seriously, you shouldn’t say silly things like the B1G being the worst P5 conference. Nobody on here who is being honest agrees with you.

Slambo's negative karma has hurt our program. He's definitely the worst contributor on here. By saying the Big10 is a joke conference he fails to realize he is insulting our program, because we know where we stand within the conference.

sic'em 365 had a guy on that did well explaining schools goals, and money..
the big 10 gets alot of uncle sam grants, so they don't focus on pushing football as much as lets say the sec who pumps football big time..

Nebraska seems to be in the middle.....

If you actually went to notre dame, you’d be able to read that I said it’s 4th out of the 5 P5 conferences

And, yes, @Big10domination, I understand that reality is not kind to the Huskers. 3-4-5 wins in the b1g is just as meaningless as 3-4-5 wins in pac12/big12/acc. Except we lose to their 3-4-5 win teams. Often times in consecutive years (CU).

Propping up an obviously overrated conference doesn’t help Nebraska at all. Reality on reality’s terms.

I’m fact, im not sure Scott Frost has a single win against a team from another P5 conference.

He has like 10 b1g wins, though.

You guys are blind, and it’s hilarious watching you attempt to back up your predictable takes on our trash conference

Kind of a stretch here, but if you look up the lyrics to Toby Keith’s Hucleberry. It kind of makes sense.
Baby I’ll be your Huckleberry, you don’t have to double dare me.
Baby (I’m up for anything), you don’t have to double dare me.
I just wish more young ladies would have used that line on me in my youth.

Just shows how close we are, in some sick and perverse sense
when 13/14 teams in the league are some flavor of bad, everyone's always close

also, there shouldn't be rankings until week 8 at the earliest

b1g does all its best work in the preseason polls, as usual. dunces like OP here actually believe it!

"great b1g defense" of pennst allowed 300+ yards rushing to a team its own coach says has no good offensive linemen

"the #7 team in the country" is tied with a 2-5 team that's thrown for 30(!) total yards with 13 seconds left in the game

doesn't get anymore b1g than that! the single most overrated conference in all of sports by far
