If Frost can keep his team playing like last night and—god forbid—upset a good team, I’d give him another year. I loved the old school feel to our offense last night. Special teams didn’t embarrass themselves. Defense was awesome again. Very few penalties.

He needs to show he can still recruit though.

He has a window of opportunity. Some, like me, remain open minded and forgiving. I am also sick of switching coaches.

Frost will need to pull off an upset against someone to reach 6 wins.

I'd say the odds are still against reaching 6 but a win against MI would change that. I would argue for people not to overhype the MI game though. Frost can still reach a bowl game by going 3-3 in these last 6 games.

There's nothing more that I'd rather see than SF succeeding here. But he needs to.

Frost is on the right track.

Recruiting will take some winning, but what he has recruited in is beginning make improvements.

I like NU's chances against Mich. Their QB is suspect but their defense is stout.

The remaining schedule is tough, but if they can stop the self inflicted penalties I think there are 3-4 wins on the horizon if they play like they did tonight...

Nebraska had OU and Mich State on the ropes and very well could have won those games. The thing I liked is that the team did not act like they had a hangover from the past two weeks. They came out swinging and really never let up the whole game last night.

Michigan is much more talented than Northwestern, so it will be a tall order to beat them, but it can happen.

Which of Purdue, Minnesota and Wisconsin would be an upset?

You keep saying this- he needs to pull off an upset

We play like we did last night and wisc does the same, the game in Madison will be close to a pick ‘em

Same w Black Friday in Lincoln

We’ll be favored over purdue and minn (your favorite team)

That’s 2 games we should win and 2 toss ups. I’m not sure what the mich spread will open as but wouldn’t be surprised if it was less than 3, also.

I wouldn’t call beating Minn, Purdue and Wisky upsets.

I can’t believe that some still want Scott gone. If you guys can’t see an overall difference between last year and this season. I don’t know what to tell you. I admit kids have made a some of the same mistakes. Those mistakes aren’t being coached though. This isn’t the NFL where you cut them for making them either.

Last night is a glimpse of what is coming. I was in our suite last night. Talked to different donors from other suites both pre & post game in hallway and waiting for elevator. They reconfirmed what I wrote before. They, like me fully support him so Scott isn’t going to get replaced anytime soon.

Frosty is two years behind schedule, but to get rid of him now would be colossally dumb. He’s righted the ship.. let’s see what these boys can do in the second half of the season.

It looks like Frost has taken some of the emotion out of his coaching. The first few years he looked miserable during bad games and now he is looking at things without any emotion.

Its like when you wanted a girl and tried super hard to get her, only to push her into the arms of the cool smooth dude.

If Frost finally get the message loud and clear that things were not acceptable by the outside noise, and Trev's influence, then it was well worth it.

If we get to 7 wins, sure I'd keep him. 6 wins, I'd start looking to see if there's upgrades out there. 5 wins is gone.

I’ve definitely changed my mind about canning SF at this point. Still questioning the possibility that OU is not the typical caliber OU team - but Michigan I think will tell a lot. If he can compete - or even win this game, be competitive in the remaining losses and win 6 games, I have no problem having him back. My biggest concern would be turning around the current recruiting class. A dud there could bite in a few years.

He’s just speaking truth
Okay you think my opinion sucks. Why is that, because I've been right as much as anybody on this board? I said the OL needed changes, I was right about that. I said giving Frost free reign to do whatever the hell he wanted was a bad idea. I was right about that. I said very early on in Frost's tenure that this team had coaching issues, and that talent wasn't the primary issue. I was right about that. My opinions were right about all of these things. But if you still think they suck, I guess that says more about you then it does me.

Jesus dude just stfu. You aren’t right on anything and have to be like 85 years old with your views. I should just put you on ignore because you clearly know nothing about football and still think it’s 1955

Go ahead, because frankly I'm tired of you following me around in every thread attacking my opinions, but making no contribution of your own.
