Who are his favorites so far? >....

I just looked him up, he has a bunch of Medium interests and he is 2024. Shouldn't Frost be focused on the classs of 2022 and 2023 first? Who does Frost have coming in for 2022?
Just answering your question about blue chips visiting this weekend.

I'd put money on him going to TCU, his sister goes there and plays volleyball for them... TCU is a BIG pull down here and as close as he is I'd say it's as good as a lock unless the old man sways his decision

***Edit, I should also add that he attended their football camp and was considered the top QB there...

Who does Frost have visiting this weekend? How many blue chips is Frost able to get to visit this weekend?

Given our current stagnant waters of recruiting, this list is better than expected waves coming in.

I have a theory 2022 was losing momentum, and coaches realized they’ll have better luck with the portal all but giving up on the HS market to finish out.

Shoot, even if Dylan Raiola could string us along long enough to make other prospects think we’re still a contender, it could help a little.
We may need to start a booster account for purchasing his services.

it's just the calm before the storm. kind of like the eye of a hurricane. nothing to worry about as long as we have a righthander and a lefthander at all positions

It's 2021! Is his sister gone STILL be there in 2024??! If she is either she would be very dumb or she would just be there for his Freshman year...

By the time he gets there, the Big 12 may cease to exist… would he still go there if that were the case? I know they’ve invited 4 schools to join them, but is there a more volatile and poached conference than the Big 12?

The recruiting hasn't been great but how many scholarships do we even have to give? Seems like we don't have a lot of seniors.

We've been the supposed best recruiting school in our division dating back to 1996.

We've played in 7 Conference Championship games in that time winning 2 in 1997 and 1999. Only been in 1 since entering the Big10 and got embarrassed 70-31 by an 8-6 Wisconsin team that was solely there because 2 other teams were on probation.

Obviously out-recruiting our competition hasn't worked out all that great, and player development and/or identifying real talent has been our achilles heel for a couple of decades.

We'll never recruit like an SEC team, Ohio State, Oklahoma, or Texas. Expectations of us to do so aren't realistic. We never have in the past, even when we were winning multiple national titles.

Landing elite recruits isn't our problem.

Why would he go play in the next AAC or Mountain West Conference?

My thoughts exactly. Transfer portal may kill high school recruiting by the large schools. Why go after unproven kids when you can grab portal kids with experience.

Everyone else is playing right handed checkers, while Nebraska is playing ambidextrous chess.

Wrong…we recruited elite in the 80s and 90s and even Cally had a top 3 class. Please understand what you’re posting before putting inaccurate opinion on the board.

Id say the chance of Frost being in Lincoln by the time Riola graduates high school will be slim to none.
What’s Dominic’s interest level in coaching OL?
I heard we need one…. and I mean if he wants to prove his recruiting skills by landing us a QB to bring with him, then I say welcome to the family!

I would say he’s far from any kind of lock to TCU. He has visited and has offers from Georgia, Clemson and Oklahoma.

Whether Raiola wants to be a Husker or not, whoever the coaching staff is better go after Daniel Kaelin, QB in the same ‘24 class. He’s already started to rack up schollie offers and the road will only get tougher to land him as he picks up bigger and bigger offers soon enough.

As an Iowa fan I realize we have to develop players rather than recruit 4 and 5 star players. It just doesn't happen for us and just never will. For example the defense which is carrying us right now is made up of the following.
DE. Van Valkenbul 0 Stars D11 Transfer
DT Van Nesas 3 Starrs
DE Noah Shannon 3 Stars
DE Joe Evens 0 Star Walk on
LB Seth Benson 2 Stars
LB Jack Camblbe 3 Stars
Cash Belton 3 Star
LB Moss 2 Star
SS Merriweather 2 Star
FS Koerner 0 Star Walk On
CB Hankins 3 Star

As you can see not very impressive. to work with and the DC had better know what he's doing.

Just wanted to see what this board would look like after a win and I'm not disappointed. It brought out all the arrogance of the years past. I have tons of Nebraska fans and they have admitted this will happen if SF has any success.

Arrogance? This is the Nebraska board.

We beat a really bad team soundly tonight. This league is full of bad teams (as you know, being a fan of one). The only thing keeping us from going 5-2 or 6-1 the rest of the way will be our own self inflicted wounds.

Here’s hoping we keep the focus and stay relatively clean. If we’re 8-3 or 7-4 on Black Friday, that game will be a pick ‘em in Lincoln

We would maybe take 2 more high schoolers. From what I've heard a CB or an O lineman. Other than that any ships we have left will be likely be saved for portal guys.

Hopefully they’ll try to get a quarterback from the porta if Martiniez leaves.
