So now you support Frost here since a random fan thousands of miles away, and only watching games on tv, doesn't know? The best 5 are out there with the possible exception of Banks vs. Schicterman. Frost is blaming players instead of himself and Austin.and I suppose you do
I’m betting it never happens in other places. Take Alabama, for example, who learned after Bear Bryant… I bet Alabama set their lineup on gameday for the first game and never makes changes. So now you support Frost here since a random fan thousands of miles away, and only watching games on tv, doesn't know? Frost knows they need better coaching. My guess is they arent making these mistakes in practice (which raises the question if they are practicing the correct way), and only making these mistakes when the pressure is on. At some point, you DO have to look at the players. He is already looking at the coaching, as evidenced by him stepping in and helpingSo now you support Frost here since a random fan thousands of miles away, and only watching games on tv, doesn't know? Remember when Hurts was the starter but somehow in the middle of the season Tua began getting more and more playing time. Impossible, I say…
The theory sounds good, but then players see there’s no correlation between practice effort and play time and then practice effort goes down as well.He needs to see if he has gamers who do not practice well... Because the practice Tarzans are Janes on gameday.
I understand that, but there are some players who just don't practice well for whatever reason. I think it is time to see if there is that element on the field. There is always the exception to the rule. If some players fill that roll, the starters need to make sure they don't give those players a sniff of the field. The theory sounds good, but then players see there’s no correlation between practice effort and play time and then practice effort goes down as well.
But Scott told us at the beginning of the season how excited he was for the prospects of the offensive line. RollingLaughdoesn't know who the best offensive linemen are, nor the best running back...
I saw it all the time. People would catch every ball in practice, but come game time would drop just about every ball thrown to them. Some people just aren't gamers and choke when the pressure's on. I was always the opposite of that. I wasn't a good practice player, but come game time I was able to step up my performance and play well. I can't really explain it either, I don't feel like I was giving a ton more effort during games than I was in practice. It must just be a mental thing, some people shine when the spotlight is on them and some people don't. That's why I think it's important to mix in players early in the season and find out who your gamers are. I don't understand the hesitation to sub out a guy who plays like **** just because the next guy could be worse. Yeah you may be right, but at the same time, maybe he's a gamer and just hasn't had the opportunity to break out yet.The theory sounds good, but then players see there’s no correlation between practice effort and play time and then practice effort goes down as well.
Good thing John Cook isnt tinkering with his rotation to find the best fit.doesn't know who the best offensive linemen are, nor the best running back...

When you win many conference and National titles you can do whatever you wanna do and not be questioned because he's earned it. Frost?? ........Not so much.Good thing John Cook isnt tinkering with his rotation to find the best fit.
I stand corrected. When you win many conference and National titles you can do whatever you wanna do and not be questioned because he's earned it. Frost?? ........Not so much.
I see what you're doing. But I don't wanna hear Frost's name mentioned with T.O and Cook. That's gotta be earned.I stand corrected.
Remember that time Osborne switched up his QBs in the Orange Bowl that year he won 24-17. Before he won any national titles? That was awesome.
I agree, this is basically what I said earlier.Have a hard time seeing that a player would just be magically better in a game vs. practice, have seen it the other way multiple multiple times where player cant handle pressure of the game, but other than maybe prima donna receiver who gives little effort in practice who only shows up on gameday, I just dont see a lineman who doesn't practice well start kicking *** in a game. Unfortunately I believe we have the best out there they just aren't being coached well.
Nice try.I agree, this is basically what I said earlier.
Are you saying the anonymous person on the internet is getting paid 5 million dollars per year to make that call???and I suppose you do
It's because NFL scouts and hot chicks are not watching ur practice reps, but they are watching the games..I saw it all the time. Didnt you know its a weekly thing. You don't give the rock to a guy unless he practices the best this past week. Dont let a guy get into a groove at all. Dont let one guy build some confidence and momentum. Let them transfer out at the end of the year and that will tell you who buys into this losers culture. I mean its all about culture right?doesn't know who the best offensive linemen are, nor the best running back...
This could be the most ignorant comparison out there seems how volleyball plays like 30 times where football plays less than half that. Not the time to take a chance on a few extra losses against top non conference meaningless opponents in football than you can in volleyball.Good thing John Cook isnt tinkering with his rotation to find the best fit.
Even Tom played multiple RBs. You can't expect a RB to last for 75-80 plays. We rode Rhamir until his *** was dragging. Likewise in an earlier game we rode Stepp until he needed help getting up off the ground. I would rather have a somewhat fresh back toting the rock than a guy whose legs are rubberized.Didnt you know its a weekly thing.
