MSU - Crucial Game

Is Michigan State the crucial game for Frost and this team? Some (deserved?) optimism after the OU game. Sparty is a good team that would be a very good win on the road and set up a couple game winning streak (NW). If we lose, I don't see how this team gets past 3-4 wins on the season and the pitchforks come out again. This could easily be the biggest game of the year.

Illinois was the biggest game of the year. We should be 3-1 right now with 6 games def in sight with NW, MN, Purdue being games you should win. Have to get a few upsets this season now.

We also have Penn State and Maryland coming in this season and after Michigan, Nebraska is the most in-demand ticket for MSU fans.

I don't agree. It's entirely possible that Nebraska loses this week and still ends up with 6 wins. It wouldn't be easy but they have a great shot at beating NU and Purdue for 4 wins. Outside of those they still have 5 games to win 2 to get bowl eligible. They'll likely be underdogs in all of them but going 2-3 is certainly within the realm of possibilities given the fact that 3 of them will be played in Lincoln and the players will all know they'll be playing for their coaches job.
