Hilarious to me that Texas did not dominate The Big 12, with tough teams like Texas Tech, Kansas, and Iowa state, and yet they would exchange them for LSU, Alabama and Auburn. They get to still play OU too. That is going to be rough.

Down 40 to 14 now. That will not go over well with their privileged fan base

With as much talent as there is in Texas and with as many talented players that actually want to be be a Longhorn, it’s amazing they have underachieved for so long.

But I’m not complaining because I love to see the Longhorns lose! 😁

I think the real story here is Arkansas. A friend of mine who lives in Oklahoma is a big Hog fan. When Pittman was hired I practically chastised her and wondered who the hell was he. Crazy choice. No one knows who he is. In just his second year, Pittman is looking pretty good. They have an identity. They play physical football and run right at you. Their defense is the same way. The jokes on me. I think Arkansas found a great diamond in the rough. I love how they play. Wish our guys played physical like that.

I think both Texas and OU will regret going to the SEC. It’s a completely different game than the big 12, and this game against Arkansas proves it.

Texas probably already silently regrets it and OU will eventually when they start losing more games.

And he’s smart and secure enough to hire top end assistants (see Kendall Briles)

If this is what Texas is going to look like in the SEC, then I can't wait. Media already saying the honeymoon period is over for Sark after his first two games. I wonder how many coaches they will burn through once they are in the SEC and going 4-8 every year.

Whorns have deeper pockets than most so it won’t bother them a bit..

In the talent hotbed they are in they have cycled coaches every few years. How has that worked out for them? Watching Texas is exactly the reason why we should be very careful what we wish for when we call to fire Frost. Every 3-4 years they have a screwed up recruiting class. All of the money, all of the tradition, all of the coach churning has done nothing for them.

With Texas AM already in the conference, Texas should change the school name to Texas PM. That way Texas schools in the SEC will suck all day long!!!!!!

They are already like us... Since Nebraska and UT played each other for the CCG Texas and Nebraska have been nearly identical. Since that game...

Overall Records:
UT 79-61
NU 80-60

Bowls:
UT 8 (6-2)
NU 7 (2-5)

Winning seasons
UT 7
NU 6

Losing seasons
UT 4
NU 5

Coaching Hires
UT 3
NU 2

UT has had a little more recent success, but its easily arguable that they have padded their record in a weaker conference with top 10/5 talent. They better get it figured out quickly, I'm not sure there is a bigger underachiever in college football.

Texas moving to the SEC is the greatest thing to ever happen to me. They will never win another conference championship, so I will never have to listen to my coworker, a life-long fan, brag about the Longhorns again.

Since Darrell Royal texass is on it’s 7th head coach.
Since Devaney Nebraska is on it’s 6th head coach..
