I lived in Columbia for 4 years. It was a sh##hole. Every city in every state has their own problems with drugs and crime. Even 40 years ago Columbia had huge problems with drugs and gangs. If volunteer shag bark Hickory trees is your idea of beauty, so be it. I prefer some decent dirt that can feed the world. You've obviously never traveled in Nebraska or you wouldn't call it a wasteland. Actually if you drive around Lincoln and Omaha you would find them very similar to nicer areas of Kansas City or Saint Louis.

I’ve always thought the Elkhorn, Millard, Gretna suburbs of Omaha are a lot like the Olathe, Overland Park, Gardner suburbs of KC (the ones on the Kansas side, the Missouri side is a war zone).

Oh mizzurah fan has made an appearance. The epitome of SEC bottom feeder, who use the successes of other SEC teams as if those successes are their own. Haven’t finished a season ranked in the top 25 since 2013, yet have the the misplaced bravado to come on a Nebraska board and talk ****.

everyone chant

If zero diversity of topography is your thing, then Nebraska is definitely for you.
LOL. I've got news for you chump. We've got the trees and rolling hills along the Niobrara and the Missouri River. On our northeast corner the Missouri is a "National Scenic River". Running through Missouri it's a giant sewer system. From the grass covered dunes of the prairies of the Sandhills to the Wildcat Hills of southwestern Nebraska, its a beautiful state. Yes if you never leave I-80 and the Platte River Valley it can get a little monotonous, but that is hardly the whole state. Take a trip to the Bohemian Alps near Verdigree. Get lost in the Devil's Nest. You have no f'n idea what you're talking about.

My wife is from Columbia. We are in town for the weekend. I’ve actually always had a lot of fun coming to Columbia. One of the most fun games I’ve been to was 2010 when Mizzou beat #1 OU (the week before Helu ran wild on Mizzou). College game day was in town, night game, etc.
Nebraskans for Mizzou!

We haven’t destroyed our recruiting base.Nebraska recruits all over the country they always have..

Keep beating that SEC drum because they’ll be doing the winning it won’t be Misery doing any of the winning.. You’ll be doing the losing…

Mizzou has played in two SEC Championship Games and won a Cotton Bowl and Citrus Bowl since joining the SEC.

Now.......tell me about Nebraska’s great accomplishments since joining the Big 10.

Nebraska fans wouldn’t claim any accomplishments since joining the B1G. But since you have set the bar so low for “accomplishments”. Nebraska has also played in a conference Championship and some middle of the road Bowls like the Gator Bowl and the Cap One Bowl since joining the B1G.

In fact, since both teams have left the Big 12 Nebraska is 68-55, Missouri is 63-49 and both teams have finished in the Top 25 twice. So basically, the time frame Mizzou is bragging about and the time frame Nebraska is embarrassed about are basically equal.

And we all know how the the two teams have fared head to head.

Nebraska destroyed their recruiting base to become a junior member of the Big 10. Not to mention being the only non-AAU school in the Big 10. Not a fit in any way.

Meanwhile, Mizzou was a Full Members...Day 1 in the best conference in the country.

New recruiting territory was opened while only enhancing existing recruiting territory.

You tried to get into the BIG but they wouldn't take you. You ended up in a good spot but you'll have to have big $$ bags if you really want to compete in that league.

So........Mizzou has clearly had more success in the SEC than Nebraska has in the Big 10.

Furthermore, the trend is without question in Mizzou’s favor.

Good times!

So...... you don’t have any accomplishments since joining the Big 10 that matches what Mizzou has accomplished since joining the SEC?
We’ve beaten Georgia as many times as Mizzou has, but we won it in a bowl game..

Your bragging about nothing to show for it congratulations You had your *** handed to you twice in the SEC CCG..

We have been ***** slapped in this conference. Just like Missouri has been ***** slapped in the SEC.

Also, scoreboard. At your place as well as ours.

I would bet they couldn’t name another player that is from Nebraska that went to a racist university like Mizzou and played for them..

They have not. Mizzou has won 56% of their games, Nebraska 55% and both have finished in the Top 25 twice. I am also really struggling to see this positive trend for Mizzou, as their new coach is winning less than their old coach and finished the year getting boat raced by a bad MSU team. Nebraska has also out recruited Mizzou the last 4 years, pretty soundly. But hey, you go the commit from Woods, so congrats on that.

Eadinnus you can say similar things just about every recruiting class in the country. if missouri isnt losing a bunch of their classes then great for them but they would be the exception. missouri really isnt going anywhere either.
even with improved recruiting they aren't in the class with georgia. again missouri got lucky being in the East.
if in the West they should probably just discontinue the program.
No. If they were in the West, we’d still have Ole miss and Ark behind us. We are a 6-8 win team this season. You guys are probably looking at 3-4. Then breaking in a new qb (possibly a coach too) next year, and we will have a 3rd year qb leading us to bigger things. That’s the difference n where are programs are today and tomorrow. You were dominant in the past.... you’re now below Mn and just slightly ahead of Illinois and Purdue in the weaker division of a lessor conference than the one we play in.
We don’t have your past, but we at least we moving into sunnier days... it’s dark ad stormy where you’re heading.

Wow, you are completely clueless. Do you even watch CFB? Do you know anything about Nebraska? Looking at 3-4 wins? What a moronic statement.

Nebraska has an infinitely brighter future than Mizzou. Maybe it’s with Frost, maybe not, but Nebraska still has everything it needs to be successful and is a great place to play football that appeals to recruits. Nebraska has a clear path to being a power in our confernece, Mizzou never will. But you can watch Bama win big games and chant SEC, SEC.

I don’t know their rankings on the different sites, but Jackson is the big dog in state. He has offers from everyone. It looks right now like he might be headed to ND, but he and Woods are tight and if you get Woods, you could have a shot with Jackson too, they were both being forecast together to ASU at one time.

Woods is right there with Helms (most likely OU bound) for the #2 spot. Woods seems like a very good player and a prototype interior OL, I wish we could have got them all, but this years Omaha kids have a chip on their shoulder towards Nebraska and all said very early on they wouldn’t consider Nebraska.

don’t think ND will have room for Jackson, unfortunately.

Don't worry Nubbies. Army used to be a power team, too. They still have some success. Question: Have you collected a full Big 10 share yet? I know they were treating you like an unwanted step child.

Wdrkb, you do realize it takes a person with mental issues to go to another board to brag about an overrated recruit when your program hasn't done jackshit since any human that is currently living hasn't seen Missouri win anything in football.

But if a recruit makes your life more power to you. For most programs in the country this is just another commit and fans move on with life.

At some point they’ll realize that the 90s were a few decades ago.
Look, NU has been picking MU's pocket for years. Congrats on getting Woods. Legit talent. But your program will always be remembered for a stupid helicopter and a crazy azz women asking a crowd for muscle to pull down an Asian reporter. Enjoy being prison raped by the SEC every year.

Wow. Nubby is now competing with Illinois and Rutgers for 2 star recruits. That's a pretty big fall from the Lawrence Phillips days.
