I saw some Bama practice videos on another thread recently with no music where the head coach was actually on the field coaching. But he’s weird.
And I have no doubt there are husker practice videos that also have no music and the head coach on the field coaching as well. The problem is the people who see this 30 second clip and assume the entire practice is this way with no coaching from the head coach.

Do you realize how stupid that sounds?

Coming out from winter conditioning and not able to make it to day 5, most of which were not in pads is not a good sign.

It doesn't matter how "talented" or how many awe-inspiring 4 and almost 5 star write ups you see, if they can't get and stay on the field consistently, it is a big problem.
The best ability is availability.

I’ve seen the product of the head coach coaching. I don't need to list an adjective for your satisfaction with the program.

What the hell does this even mean? Who said I’m satisfied with 12-20? I sure as hell didn’t...

But I’m not gonna point to a 30 second video and say because music was played the team isn’t serious and doesn’t care about getting better.

Go elsewhere if you are now gonna start trolling. We don’t need another JLB here.

I get that the loud music is a HUGE trigger for some of you, and that automatically spells doom and gloom, but in all seriousness, I would love for any one of you to find me a team at any level that isn’t blasting music into practice.

Seriously, the way some of you interpret the playing of music at practice makes me chuckle.
I don't hear ANY music blasting when these guys are practicing:

Just wanted to give everyone the update that I’m also out this spring with a rib fracture.
But I’ll be here on the sidelines taking in the mental reps and preparing for the W’s come fall.

You really should read all the responses. Picking a clip and using that as a catch-all that because this 10 minute clip doesn’t have any music means they never practice with music is stupid.

So also, picking a 30 second clip where target are playing music doesn’t mean every second of every practice has music blasting during practice.

If you don’t like that they play music from time to time, sucks to be you. But it’s flat out stupid to suggest that because this 10 minute clip of Bama’s practice means they never play music, just as it’s flat out stupid to say Nebraska always plays music during practice.

After watching Alabama's practices compared to Nebraska's. Is night and day different.
How much have you watched of Nebraska’s practices? I won’t pretend to say Nebraska’s is just as good. But the issue you and others have pointed out is the music. And all I’m saying is 30 second clips don’t encapsulate entire practices. They are not playing music every second of practice. Period.

I wish our practices were like Bama’s, no doubt. But complaining about music whenever a 30 second clip shows music being played in it is beyond ridiculous.

Do you mean this? This super physical balls to the wall bad boy practice?
If NU released this video...most of the posters would ***** that it was a soft practice and that soooo many players were standing around.

I don't know, I detect some actual on field instruction happening. I approve of Alabama's methodology, whether it be practicing football on the field or twerking in the clubhouse. Keep it up Bama, it's working.

I don't care if Frost plays music at practice, show me where I said I did, and show me where I said Nebraska always plays music at practice. You wanted an example of a team that doesn't, I gave it to you. Maybe Saban ramps up the jukebox now and then, but I doubt if it's very often.

You seem to be the one who has problems, look at your little rant you put down. Talk about stupid, your take is nothing but that.

Maybe you need to get outside more instead of festering anger inside your man cave about who plays music and who doesn't. Hilarious.

Actually Saban does say he doesn't use music at practice...but anyone that thinks that is the "magic" to winning is a dork.

You know what, my bad... I didn’t realize all you were doing was finding a clip without music. Reading my initial post, you addressed my post. Apologies.

What I was attempting was seeking a team that never uses music in practice. Someone else already posted a clip about Bama, I didn’t see the need for another clip about Bama. Anyone could find a clip with no music. I could find a husker clip without music as well. It’s just a clip not an entire practice. I responded to that first Bama post, which led me to believe you weren’t reading the thread.

Yeah, I get hot when a clip is posted and there’s music and our posters complain about how that means we don’t want to get better. Gets old.

Wow wtf??! Our team looks like their straight out of Scandinavia...no wonder we getting our asses kicked! Smh....
yep.. if you scroll through the roster online at huskers.com it's looking pretty undiversified once you get passed number 30 or so. I never wanted to say anything about it, but I think he's close to the edge of being called out on it if someone wanted to.
