I appreciate that he at least acknowledges the "overstated generalizations" we are normally fed.

After last year I don't think anyone was really counting on Manning. Obviously the dude has some issues and his star is starting to fade plus N has some other options now at WR. Now, Stepp, I think it would be nice to have him available to tote the ball but his injury trajectory may continue so this would be a hit.

Might not be anything crazy. Could be them holding them to a snap count in an effort to keep them healthy.

early season after first couple of padded practices. I'm going to speculate hamstring pulls or something minor. I prefer that to the usual, "they're done and will never play" that people normally jump to on this board.

Stepp was expected nothing that is a concern like Manning...
Manning is a huge head scratcher now that he has been here long enough to accomplish things in at least practice..

Coming out from winter conditioning and not able to make it to day 5, most of which were not in pads is not a good sign.

It doesn't matter how "talented" or how many awe-inspiring 4 and almost 5 star write ups you see, if they can't get and stay on the field consistently, it is a big problem.

I whole heartedly believe Manning should be able to line up and run down the sideline with zero practice time. And we should throw it up to him every time he’s single covered.

I get that the loud music is a HUGE trigger for some of you, and that automatically spells doom and gloom, but in all seriousness, I would love for any one of you to find me a team at any level that isn’t blasting music into practice.

Seriously, the way some of you interpret the playing of music at practice makes me chuckle.

Shoot, most HS's blast music now.

Practice sucks, might as well add some fun to it.

I think those vids are hilariously cheesy

especially when the losingest QB in school history is right in the middle playing ringleader

But not Nebraska... if they’re having fun, then they don’t want to win. SMH.
It's the off-season in NE. Where our fans over analyze every quote. Anoint the next Heisman winner. Rag on every little coaching detail. Generally piss and moan at every turn. God I hate the down time!!! 😠

I totally agree that it’s cheesy... just not ā€œpull your hair out because we don’t take practice seriously and don’t want to get betterā€ cheesy.

I saw some Bama practice videos on another thread recently with no music where the head coach was actually on the field coaching. But he’s weird.

Based off comments Frost made a couple months ago about Omar, I think fans just need to write Omar off and move on. I know I did...
