I'm not so sure we don't end up on the positive side of it this year. We lost a starting slot WR/RB and a backup QB and potentially gained a #1 WR and #1 RB. I don't think anyone else that left had much of a chance to see the field.

The signing of Niko Cooper was one of the weirdest recruitments of the last few seasons. The kid never started a game in JUCO, and yet earned a scholarship to Nebraska.

I don't know what the hell Ryan Held was thinking with that one.

I'm not so sure we don't end up on the positive side of it this year. We lost a starting slot WR/RB and a backup QB and potentially gained a #1 WR and #1 RB. I don't think anyone else that left had much of a chance to see the field.

Don’t forget the LB from Northern Iowa, must be something they really like about him to get him early on.

Yea Avery Roberts sure seemed sad to land in those "dumping grounds". Went from not good enough to be in the 3 deep in behind our stellar LB's in Lincoln to ALL-PAC 10 at Oregon State!!

Guess that shows the level of talent evaluators and development can do for YA...

Avery got butt hurt and didn't stick around to compete and see how things shook out. Also, I imagine it's easier to get All-conference honors at the PAC than in the B1G. But he did have a stellar season and NU could have used him last year.

I guess everything is easier at ANY team, ANY league and in ANY other time period than it is at Nebraska currently in the Big 10. I remember just 6 -7 years ago it was nothing for Nebraska to have 3-5 All conference players as well as 3-5 NFL draft picks minimum per year.

I guess everything is easier at ANY team, ANY league and in ANY other time period than it is at Nebraska currently in the Big 10. I remember just 6 -7 years ago it was nothing for Nebraska to have 3-5 All conference players as well as 3-5 NFL draft picks minimum per year.

Man, I would just say chill a bit. You’re living a bit too much in the moment. Drink some tea instead of whatever is firing you up. So, lay off monsters, Red Bull, reign, etc. if you’re old, keep it to one cup of coffee in the morning and night. We’re gonna get there...eventually.

you can fool all of the people some of the time. and you can fool some of the people all of the time.
but you cant fool all of the people all of the time. even nick misses once in a while
