No idea why Illinois took Miller out the game at the 4:00 mark. He was playing great on both ends, but The Big Book of Basketball Coaching must have said it was time to put him on the bench.
Seems like there's still a place in the game for great ball movement, moving without the ball and knocking down free throws, but I'm probably just seeing things. It was surely a combination of tight officiating and being worn down by the Big Ten meat grinder that took Illinois down.

Just referring that they played a power 5 school and lost nothing against them but they did have a chance in December they just don’t get a lot of power 5 schools wanting to play them..

anyway, I was listening to the fighting VanHorns beat Bama, nice bounce back for them after losing their 3rd in a row 16-1 Friday, won both yesterday and today 9-1 & 3-1. Maybe the OmaHogs are back - that sched though, WOW, hard to survive that bad boy!
