Tonight will be my first real night watching!!!I’m a tennis junky but we are preparing for a move and the TV hasn’t been on at all. I have no idea who has done what so far... hope it’s been good!
Have fun, and I won’t be upset if you post updates from time to time.Tonight will be my first real night watching!!!
I’ll do my part!!!Have fun, and I won’t be upset if you post updates from time to time.![]()
I know, I was excited to get YouTubeTV and then saw they dropped tennis channel. Will still get it I think, but bummed about that.We have YouTubeTV and the Tennis Channel used to be on it. They took it off the start of the year. Totally stinks
Yep, but tennis channel has 24/7 tennis, for those of us who want more. Since football is over and I’m not a basketball fan, there isn’t a lot for me to watch regularly.Ausie open is on ESPN networks.
He is such a knucklehead!!!Where else can you get tennis channel? Watching rerun of kyrios. I love that *******
If you want to kill a night watch Kyrigios match videos on YOUTUBE .... no one like himHe could be so good!!! Liked his comments about Djocavic after that weirdo talked ****
If you have a fire stick or Roku or something I think you can pay something like $10 a month to get it. Not positive though.Where else can you get tennis channel? Watching rerun of kyrios. I love that *******
Went Wimbledon in 2014 was pretty cool experience. Centre Court
Until last fall, I had gone to 11 Opens in a row....ypou are right....NOTHING beats the fan experience...I've been fortunate to have front row for two Fed matches(one started three minutes after midnight) and one Djokcovic match...could write a book...such the best time!
Not so much...well, a little...but just a bit brazen...sometimes the high dollar people leave and my eager minions snap up their tickets, call me and there you go!!!!Clearly you are well-connected.
Professional tennis is the best spectator bargain in all of sports IMHO. Attended the US Open a few years ago. Grounds passes in the early rounds are very reasonable, and very good players are scattered about the outer courts throughout the day. You can bounce from match to match, often grabbing courtside seats, make a whole day of it. You can watch your favorites warm up. You can grab a lot of autographs if you're into that sort of thing.
Now if you want to watch Djokovic vs. Nadal in the finals, I'd recommend doing that on your television. In person it is pretty much the same cost and experience as a professional basketball game -- but without the rowdiness. Courtside is for rich people, affordable seats are in the nosebleeds.
The biggest negative is that a rainy day can spoil the whole thing, which is why you might want to pony up for a seat in a covered stadium as a refuge.
Would be a dream come true.Bucket list for me is to hit all the other Grand Slam events.
Been to Wimbledon TWICE when it wasn't going on...THAT'S bad planning!![]()
Like you mentioned, the first week of the US Open is amazing! Matches everywhere and the tennis is great. I’m an introvert and not big on crowds, but the atmosphere was tremendous. My wife and I went with friends 5 years ago, and were blown away.
The only tennis I'm spending more than 10 minutes watching has to be the women. Marvelous athletes....If you want to kill a night watch Kyrigios match videos on YOUTUBE .... no one like him![]()
2016? I was there, watched hometown hero Jack Sock defeat 2014 champion Marin Cilic.
Do you guys play? I’m a 3.5-4.0. Play once a week in a clinic. My favorite night of the week
