Heck of a coach, but wish he was in a role where he could also recruit.
Maybe he’s a full time assistant coach in waiting
1. Not a “heck of a coach”
2. Love him coming back as an analyst.
He’s worked with the best of the best. You can’t be a “Meh” level coach doing that. He was also offered the DC job at Boise St. in which he turned down. He’s also a hell of a recruiter. I think he’s a very strong addition to our program.
He can't be an onroad factor in recruiting though as an analyst. Again I'd think it either is just a "resting spot" until he gets the assistant job he wants OR he is an assistant in waiting when Fish leaves. He’s worked with the best of the best. Maybe he stars in a direct to video "Weekend at Bernie's" reboot. That would be nice. Mario moves on to the cigar shop full-time, Frost coaches QB’s and Busch becomes ST coordinator. Dam, now I have my hopes up.
This would work out OK. He can recruit and he'd be a stable addition. He's a Nebraska guy.He can't be an onroad factor in recruiting though as an analyst. Again I'd think it either is just a "resting spot" until he gets the assistant job he wants OR he is an assistant in waiting when Fish leaves.
I agree he is one heck of a recruiter. He was also a part of coaching some below average defensive backfieldsHe’s worked with the best of the best. You can’t be a “Meh” level coach doing that. It was a good hire, but why does it show signs of maturity by Frost?Baby steps.....first things is first! In my opinion this is a great hire and show signs of maturity by Frost. I will Frost props when he does things differently.
IF he is allowed to have fair input on development, game planning and types of players to recruit and stay away from then this could be a GREAT HIRE! After Verducci or whateva his name is put out to pasteur then he could be next man up!
He knows what good players look like and has more experience coaching than the entire defensive side of the ball minus Dawson combined.
I imagine Bo fired him at LSU, but of course Bo needed some fall guys for their awful defense.

3. Damn if he doesn’t look like legendary golfer Shooter McGavin.1. Not a “heck of a coach”
2. Love him coming back as an analyst.
How do you know Bill Busch is not a good coach?1. Not a “heck of a coach”

Sipple “hinted” this morning that Dawson may get the ST duties in addition to his work with the LB.
How do you know Bill Busch is not a good coach?
Just curious. You know this how?
