Lawrence Phillips documentary on Showtime

This documentary is a joke. Should be banned for going after Frost. Must be an Iowa fan who made it. What a joke. The people who made this documentary are idiots. Probably jlb who made it to paint frost in a negative light. Trolls.
Then so does Showtime? And so does the people who made the documentary. Also all the teammates of LP who hate frost.
Be honest, is there anything that this could bring up that people don’t know and/or would surprise people?

If Scott Frost didn’t exist or never transferred to Nebraska, would Lawrence Phillips still be alive?
Phillips was doomed. Eventually he would have self destructed. Sadly he endured a terrible upbringing which molded him into what he was.
The only time Frost was mentioned in it is when it mentions he hid on the closet while the girl was dragged down the stairs. So I’m not sure how that is relevant.
It’s relevant because everyone knows the former players hate frost and want him to fail. You said so yourself.
Some. I said there is a faction of players who want that yes. Sipple mentioned it in his article if you read it.
I don’t need to read it. You’ve provided the cliffs notes. I believe you. Former players want nothing more than their alma mater to fail just so they can laugh at Frost. It all makes sense now.
They don’t want frost to be the one to turn it around I would imagine. I’m sure they want the program to do well. Maybe they just don’t like frost since he rubbed them the wrong way. LP was described some teammates as a guy who would give his shirt off his back to his teammates if needed. There is probably more to the story than what we know. But clearly to say there isn’t divide is lying. There is a whole article on it so don’t blame me.
Decided to read it. There’s a whole article with one short paragraph about it. Doing what you always do, which is exaggerate. 3 sentences in the entire article talking about former teammates. See below...
“Criticism comes from even Frost's former teammates. I hear from them occasionally. They're concerned, invested. There's enough criticism from ex-Huskers that a reporter felt compelled to ask Frost about it last week.”
Beford, you posted they wanted him to fail. Now you say they want the program to do well. Which is it? You can’t talk out of both sides of your mouth and expect to be taken seriously
There are some that don’t like him and some that do. I know a couple and they don’t dislike him. Their playing days ended about the time he arrived on campus. They said he was arrogant but they say Tommie was even more so...and they still respected Tommie as the QB on the team and (though they liked Brook as a person and friend better), they knew having Tommie out there ratcheted the team’s offensive potency up a couple of notches. Now would they want to go for a beer with Tommie? Probably not. Probably the same answer about Frost...respected him as a player but not somebody they would be inclined to be close to socially.
so if I said there are some that hate him would you believe it? And if I said there are some that love him would you believe it? Because apparently that’s impossible
I would believe some love him and some hate him. Certainly not impossible and in this particular situation highly probable.
Take a look at Rick’s like feature. I liked his post. He didn’t just say some don’t like him. He explained it. He put it in context. It made sense.
You run around this board like a chicken with your head cut off at times... you spout off about stuff without ever explaining yourself. Then you say things like “look it up yourself.” Or “I’m not naming names.” You generally say stuff that is unsubstantiated. “Because you know.” That usually doesn’t fly here.
But there’s a tremendously long history on this board that people who share unsubstantiated (mostly) stuff don’t get listened to. So why are you so surprised when people don’t believe you when you barely provide any support, and in this instance, the support is 3 sentences in an entire article, and even then, the article doesn’t even come close to saying the former players want him to fail, as you have said.
I always wonder when I post something which one of the same 3 Same posters will criticize my post. It’s the same 3 Over and over. Mainly 2. So I don’t pay much mind. But I do enjoy living rent free in your head.
This is the other thing you do. You don’t answer posts. When we point out what the issues are, you completely ignore and never address the issue we have with your posts.

The guy obviously had serious anger issues and problems with women. Alcohol seemed to really trigger his violent behavior.
