Hard game to call. Two struggling teams in bitter cold at night in an empty stadium. Not much for either team to play for other than pride. Going to come down to the usuals: turnovers, penalties, special teams.
My gut says Rutgers. But my head says we have more talent and find a way to win.

Hard to predict anything but a tight low scoring game.

I can no longer predict this stuff. Defense will have to carry the day though because I seriously doubt our offense can score more than 25 points on any team.

We'll make Rutgers look like world beaters. A fitting cap to a craptastic season. It's a good thing that the game has been moved to prime time. That way we can get embarrassed before a national audience.

While I would love us to win, I can't imagine in this weather we will be able to pass at all. If we have any turnovers we are doomed.

I think this game will come down to who wants it more and who can run the ball better. I gotta think both of those goes to Rutgers favor.

We continue to be dysfunctional offensively and the defensive dams break loose in the 4th quarter.

I envision this being like a poor mans version of NU vs Ole Miss ā€˜02. Neither team was good but the Rebels wanted it a little bit more.

Last time we played in these kinds of conditions, the team collectively quit prior to the opening snap, and we got beat 34-7.

Of course, the lead quitter has since transferred out, but I still don't see us winning. Hopefully I'll be surprised.

Good guys 17, Rutgers 27.

I’m scared to think of how many yards we will lose trying to throw sideline screen passes in a blizzard at night. Rutgers 2 Nebraska 0

The 2 things we've got going for us are 1) coming off a loss and 2) not playing at home.

If we throw a swing pass on the first play and lose yards Rutgers win by 17... that’s the logic I’m going with today

If the first play is a swing pass: NU 17 RU 27

if it’s is a run NU 27 RU 17

Rutgers is allowed to have family members attend the game but we aren't allowed to have anyone there which I think is BS

I must say this is probably the least anticipated Cornhusker football game I can recall. Maybe it's because it's on a Friday night at the end of messed up season. Maybe it's because we simply have sucked all year. That said, here we go...

I am not making this up. I had a dream about this game last night. It was 0-0 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. We tackled the Rutgers QB and had 2 guys called for targeting. They went to commercial instead of showing the replay. I woke up before I found out if they'd been ejected. That's 2020 in a nutshell.

This is easy as HCSF will certainly want to validate the selection of Culp as All B1G 10 kicker, so he’ll go 3 of 4 and Huskers pull it out 16-13
GBR!

Rutgers will win. Rutgers has a better, more experienced coaching staff, and the players have better discipline.

Prediction is Nebraska Defense will play well enough to give the Offense a chance but the Offense will shoot itself in the foot at critical moments. Offensive play calling will be head scratching (again). Hope I’m wrong but the Offense has not shown any improvement all season nor any downfield threat to keep opposing Defenses honest.
