Did anyone make honorable mention? You'd think maybe Wan'Dale would have a shot but even that seems like a stretch.

Ouch! This says something. Draw your own conclusions.

Just waiting for someone to say it's media bias.

JoJo has a chance to make one of those on D. maybe one of the DBs, too, but lack of INTs likely holds them back.

culp has a chance to be recognized as a specialist, I suppose.

who was the last 1st team all-B1G player we had?

Maybe Randy Gregory? Seems like ages ago.

also, for as good as everyone on this board says Jaimes is, has he ever been recognized on one of these teams?

certainly not 2019 or 2020. I'm no expert on line play, but you'd think a supposed sure-fire NFL guy like that could crack the top 3 at his position in the conference.

15 OL and we didn't have a single one on there. Any further questions as to why this offense can't/won't run?

Can you name a school that has recruited higher rated OL the last 5+ years and gotten less out of them than Nebraska has? Maybe Michigan?

I think you’ll be waiting a long time... I don’t see many defending Frost and Co on this board.

Idk how anyone is surprised...on offense no one did anything all year. Wandale doesn't even have a single TD. Defense we may see two on 3rd team with JoJo or CTB. Culp maybe 3rd team kicker.

Jaimes has now been Honorable Mention three years in a row. While that's not a tremendous accomplishment, it sure beats the Hell out of what's been happening on the other side of the O-line for the past three seasons.

Here are our best shots at defensive team:

D. Daniels (tough with his limited snaps but he did destroy the 1st team center pick)
Stille (solid year with big plays thrown in)

JoJo (big season from him showing his versatility and shoring up mistakes in containment)

Dismuke (big season...maybe bigger than most Husker fans realize)
CTB

Could have thrown Deontai and Bootle in there as well. Most physical secondary in quite a while.

Farniok? honorable mention for us or somebody else?
Maybe the media thought it would be embarrassing for Frost to gift his Offensive Linemen of the Year Award (again) to a player who couldn't crack the Honorable Mention ranks.

Here's the breakdown on the 2015-2018 OL recruiting classes which should have been the heart of the OL the past 2 years. From 2015/2016, only 3 that finished their senior year as a starter, and two of those everyone seems happy to see graduate this year. From 2017/2018, Jurgeons appears the only one likely to do so , as most others seem to have been passed up by younger players. But his position seems iffy if he cannot eliminate the snap problems.

2015
Barnett - 4 star - medical hardship
Decker - 3 star - quit football
C. Gaylord - 3 star - 6th year senior, career reserve

2016
M. Farniok - 3 star - 3 year starter
Wilson - 3 star -3 year starter
Raridon - 4 star - quit football
Brokop - 3 star - transfer

2017
Walker - 2 star - RS Jr, DNP 2019/2020
Sichterman - 3 star - RS Jr, reserve
Jaimes - 3 star - 3 year starter
Bando - 3 star - RS Jr, reserve

2018
Canty - 3 star - DNQ
W. Farniok - 3 star, RS So - reserve
Jurgeons - 4 star (athlete), RS So, 2 year starter

Wow..... Stille is brutal. Best chances are Cam Taylor Britt, Jojo, and Dismuke.

That should put away any question that Daniels was not our best Dlineman. He destroyed Iowa's center all day and he was the 1st team pick.

People forget how good the OSU lines have been and how many guys they've put in the NFL. Then you add in sometimes a guy from PSU, Iowa, etc etc. It's damned tough to be all conference in the B1G. .....and yes there is some bias in the selection process. That said, given our performance it isn't surprising that we don't have any picks. Jaimes will play on Sundays.

5-2.. time for another banner hanging ceremony! or perhaps a different hanging ceremony as you tighten your belt one more notch around your neck while you stroke it to the all-B1G teams 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

f'ing loser
Hey there big boy, Iowa just had the defensive player of the year and defensive lineman of the year.

bateman played in like 4 games and still made it over the guy who carries our entire offense at 2 different positions
bateman is surprising and comical. Wandal isn't IMO. I know he does what you said, but he's a runt, and there is a plethora of fast guys in the conference that dwarf him and cover him, and toss him around all game. He's a good swiss army knife type of player and as good as we got(I think he's actually a tremendous football player), but he doesn't alter game plans, and really isn't anything that requires special game planning. Badly needed is a go to reciever(s) and serviceable backs so the uniqueness of Wandale can shine.

And still didn’t win the division...
yes, they choked big time early, doing what Nebraska did all year--TOs stopped them from putting PU and NU away, and it bit them huge in games waning moments. But, it's a throw away year for basically everyone - them, us, and and everyone outside of OSU. Slate is essentially clean for everyone as this dreadful year comes to an end.

Nebraska needs its jimmy and joes to begin appearing on this this list. It's not always determinable, but indeed a barometer for success- and what stresses opponent coaches in prepping game plans.

Bob, since when are you a bigger fan of Nebraska than of your former employer?

Hello Tiger, whoever you are. I'm complicated. Grew up on one team, other deep roots at another. That's no secret. Have a good one.

go back to the slop bucket and share with your dirtbag kin

hopefully after this news the likelihood of autoerotic asphyxiation increases statewide.
Ok Rambo. Always delightful to talk with you. Have fun motorboating your mom in your trailer.
